Continuity mistake: In the part right before the girl is thrown in the heroin needle pit, Jonas takes the envelope with the drug dealers tape. When the cop's son pulls the cover off the pit, you can see that the envelope that Jonas just ripped off is still on. It's right near the bottom of the screen, and in the middle. (00:49:30)

Suggested correction: Yes the envelope is there, but that's not where it was when Jonas took it to get the tape. He takes it from a hanging wire and throws it to the side. This is obviously where it lands.

Corrected entry: Jigsaw says he's never killed anyone in his life, but in the first Saw, when Detectives Sing and Tapp find Jigsaw's lair, Sing chases him and hits a trip wire, causing several shotguns to go off, killing him. Sing didn't know about the trap, therefore had no choice. So Jigsaw killed him.

Correction: Jigsaw, for all intents and purposes, is a psychopath who's simply found a way to 'justify' his actions. Notice how he slashed Tapp's throat in a manner that should have been fatal. In Sing's case, his thought process was probably, "it's his own fault he got killed - he should have been situationally aware."

Corrected entry: When Eric calls Daniel in Jigsaw's hideout, he discovers that Jigsaw has changed Daniel's voicemail tone. However, several times before that, Eric tried to contact Daniel to apologise for an argument they had, without receiving the different voicemail tone.

Correction: Jigsaw changed it when he knew Detective Matthews was on his way to taunt him when he tried calling again. If he changed it right away, it would have robbed him of his theatricality and the reveal. It's all part of Jigsaw's mind-game with Matthews.

Other mistake: The drip-meter that is supposed to administer Jigsaw's medication is not turned on. Anyone who has spent time in a hospital and seen one for real knows that a lot of numbers are shown on the displays when it is running to show medication status. (00:13:50)

Suggested correction: It's not specifically stated that the machine is in use. That's just an assumption. It could be set dressing he's using to enhance the perception of his condition.

Trivia: When Jigsaw and Eric escape the lair via a hidden elevator, the film's low budget prevented the construction of an actual working elevator. Thus, some trick photography and editing was implemented. For the first shot of Jigsaw and Eric "going down", the scene was shot by raising the camera vertically to give the impression they were descending. For the next wide shot, simple digital effects were added to make it appear that the room was "lowering." And for the final shot where we see the top of the elevator going down an elevator shaft, stock footage from the film "Hollow Man" was used.

Question: How is it that all the dead victims (except Adam and Lawrence) are found? What kind of clues could the police follow to find those secret locations and still don't have any about the jigsaw?

Answer: Perhaps someone in the vicinity smelled the bodies and called the police. Each of the victims shown on screen appears to have been dead for at least a few days.

Lawrence didn't also die, as he was shown to have survived in Saw 3D. I'm assuming you are talking about Zep.
