Visible crew/equipment: As Joey walks over to Robin and Violet, who are hanging up washing, a large set of lights is reflected in the window as he walks over.

Continuity: During the final chase scene where Melanie Kinnamin is running through the woods the pink sweater which is over her shoulders disappears and reappears at random, until she finally loses it by the tree where her co-worker is found murdered.

Continuity: The leaves around the blanket Tina and Eddie lay on vary during shots, the position of the blanket changes from wrinkled to smooth and the shade in the scene keeps changing.

Continuity: Jason chases Pam with a clean machete, however in the shot just before he's hit by the tractor, the machete is bloody.

Continuity: When Demon is in the outhouse, the pullcord hanging above his right shoulder disappears in some shots.

Continuity: When Sheriff Tucker has the two newspaper clippings he puts the one entitled "Killing Spree End in Crystal Lake" at the top. In the following shot he has the other clipping at the top.

Continuity: When Tommy is at Jason's grave, the stones around Jason's grave are different from the closeup to the aerial shot.

Revealing: When Reggie hits Roy with the tractor, the wound on his chest only appears after he has hit the ground.

Continuity: When Jason is squeezing the kid's head against the tree with the leather strap he is turning the rings counter-clockwise in the first two shots, but then clockwise in last shot.

Continuity: When Ethel and Junior take off on the bike, the shades surrounding the police car differ between shots.

Revealing: In the closeup of Tina dead, her chest rises.

Continuity: The position of the chicken changes as Ethel gives it it's last on-screen chop.

Visible crew/equipment: When Tommy is at Jason's grave, a white reflector screen is clearly reflected into his glasses.

Continuity: Just before Junior is killed, the level of the stew Ethel is making changes from shot to shot.

Continuity: Just before the spike goes through Demon's stomach, his gold necklaces change position between shots.

Continuity: Jason gets his left shoulder sliced by a chainsaw. However later his right shoulder can briefly be seen as the one which is cut.

Continuity: As Eddie scares Tommy with the mask, on the wall there's a poster - "Four ways you can stop drug abuse...", with nothing under it. When Tommy lifts Eddie up there's now another small sheet tacked up under it.

Continuity: When Robin and Violet hang up the laundry, the distance between the pink towel and boxer shorts increases between shots.

Continuity: When Joey walks out onto the porch, he has a yellow chocolate bar sticking out of his sweater. In a following closeup it has gone.

Revealing: When Sheriff Tucker shows Pam the newspaper clippings taken from Roy's wallet, plainly two of the columns in the article are identical and have nothing to do with Jason.

Revealing: When Demon is using the outhouse, his pants are unzipped but not pulled down.

Continuity: In the film Demon is in the outhouse and is sitting on the bowl when it begins to shake. The toilet paper changes amounts on the roll between shots.

Revealing: When Tommy goes to slice Roy's arm, you can see he is not really holding the machete in his hand.

Factual error: When Vic is in the police car, there should be a screen separating the front from back seats.

Continuity: After Reggie's grandfather flies through the window, his head changes positions between shots.

Continuity: Lana smears lipstick on her upper right lip, but when she turns at the cat's noise, it is pressed and perfect-looking.

Revealing: When Anita lies dead on the ground with her throat slit you can see her pulse in her neck.

Continuity: When Ethel gets a cleaver in her face, blood spatters everywhere. Yet the cleaver blade is still clean.

Audio problem: When Junior is riding his motorbike around, screaming "they hurt me, ma," in many wideshots we hear him yell but his mouth is closed.

Visible crew/equipment: As Pete walks off into the woods, the cameraman's shadow is briefly visible on his back.

Continuity: After Tommy takes the prescription bottle out, and takes out a pill, pills scatter all over the desk. In the next shot the pills are arranged differently and some are gone, and also the pill bottle has gone.

Continuity: When Tommy is dropped off at Pinehurst, the way he holds his bag changes between shots as he walks through the door with Pam.

Continuity: At the beginning of the film, we see boots walking through the woods. In a closeup they stop, and to the left boot there's a cluster of leafless branches. In the following shot from behind, they are gone.

Continuity: When Demon is in the outhouse and the wall is speared the first time you can see the pike coming in above the toilet paper roll. When it cuts the pike is almost below the roll.

Revealing: Violet has blood on her shirt before she get stabbed.

Continuity: When Violet is dancing in her room, Jason starts to walk up to her and we see the knife has dried blood on it. Then he picks her up, stabs her takes the knife out and now the knife is clean.

Continuity: In the film Joey has chocolate on his face/left side of his mouth. The amount of chocolate changes on his left side as he is walking off the porch towards Violet.

Continuity: In the film Tommy tosses the alien mask that he wore to scare Reggie on his bed and the mask slides down the wall and is all crinkled up. In the following shots Tommy takes out another mask and you can see the alien mask now laying flat on his bed and away from the wall.

Visible crew/equipment: After the "Friday the 13th" logo explodes, the supports that were holding up the model are briefly visible through the smoke.

Continuity: In the film the killer.aka."not the real Jason" is seen walking through the rain soaked grounds and woods , but yet when he climbs up the ladder at the end of the film his shoes are pretty clean.

Continuity: In the scene where Robin goes to bed you can see that Jake is not there. When she turns over Jason couldn't of possibly put Jake there in that short time without her noticing, especially when she was still awake.

Continuity: In the scene where Jake gets a cleaver smacked in his face, you see him get slashed across his face. When Robin goes to bed and she sees him die, you can see the slash on his face is in the opposite direction.

Continuity: When Ethel says "Now, I wanna tell all of you. Mark my words." she has her arms down. When it cuts she leans her left arm against her waist.

Continuity: Jason stabs the machete vertically into the man's stomach, but when he pulls it out the machete is in horizontally.

Revealing: When Jason is raising the machete above Tommy in the woods, you can tell that his eyeholes are covered with black cloth.

Continuity: After watching "A Place in the Sun," Robin goes to her room and removes her blue gown. Then she walks to her mirror, and in the reflection we see the white door at the end of her bed is wide open. In the following shot into her mirror, the door is shut.

Continuity: When young Tommy is looking at Jason's grave the amount of leaves on the grave change between the shots.

Continuity: When Reggie finds the bodies in Tommy's room, Violet is first propped against the wall, but in the next shot, she is lying down, then she is propped up again.

Continuity: When Jason stabs the man in the throat with a screwdriver, you can see he has no shirt collar covering his throat. When it cuts his shirt collar is up covering his throat.

Revealing: When Vinnie has a road flare shoved into his mouth by Jason, it is obviously a dummy as the road flare is inserted.

Revealing: As Junior is riding around on the bike, right before he is murdered, you see the same clip of him turning and riding onto the deck twice.

Continuity: As Reggie rides the tractor towards Jason, his hood keeps changing position, probably in order to dover up the stunt drivers face.

Continuity: When Lana carries the cat to the door, she is holding it in her right arm while she reaches out for the light switch with her left hand. When it cuts, from the outside view she holds the cat in her left hand, while reaching with her right hand.

Continuity: As Pam runs through the woods, she stumbles upon her co-worker with a screwdriver impaled in his forehead. The amount of blood on his face changes between shots.

Continuity: As Jason approaches the smashed barn door, some of the wooden planks in the left side of the door disappear between shots.

Plot hole: After Jason is knocked out of the barn doors, Pam and Reggie slowly walk over to look, but then Jason jumps up and grabs onto the barn floor. However when we see a wideshot of him dangling, you can see there are no ledges for him to have gripped onto while he fell, and that it's just a flat wall. Therefore he couldn't have popped up because there weren't any other ledges for him to have grabbed a hold of on the wall.

Revealing: When Tommy begins to beat up Junior, at the trailer park, you can clearly see that it is a stunt double replacing Tommy.

Continuity: When Reggie discovers the bodies, blood appears on Violet's face in between shots.

Visible crew/equipment: In the film the ambulance is called to Pinehurst. When the ambulance comes to a stop the boom mike can be seen in the bottom part of the rear window.

Audio problem: When everyone is running after the police car, we hear Robin shout "Hey guys! Joey, c'mon!" but her mouth is shut.
