Continuity: Amanda Peet finishes the shoot and breaks away from the set to meet up with a friend at a pizzeria across the street for lunch. They pick a table on the sidewalk, and as soon as Radha Mitchell sits down she drops her handbag by her side next to her chair down on the ground. In the next immediate closeup shot when the two of them start conversing, the purse is now up on the table, very prominently in the middle of the screen.

Continuity: The "magic lamp" shifts 90 degrees between shots during a discussion.

Visible crew/equipment: In the scene when they start the comedy story, when Melinda comes into the family's dinner feeling sick, as she enters through the door you can see on the top of the screen the tip of a microphone.

Continuity: Nearing the end of the film, Melinda and Hobie are sitting on the bed (or sofa). At one shot Melinda is starting to lean towards Hobie. At the next shot she's totally still, without ever finishing that lean.
