Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous (2005) - 30 mistakes

Continuity: The Tina Turner wig that Sam is wearing changes between scenes. In the traffic jam it is noticeably more spiky than the one she was wearing in the drag club.

Continuity: When Gracie is reviewing Joel's etiquette rule book, her right hand holds the book while her left flips the pages, but in a consecutive shot she is suddenly holding the book with her left hand flipping pages with her right.

Continuity: When Gracie and Clonsky are at the bank, there is a tray attached to the handle of the carriage (with a sippy cup). After Gracie tells the "housewife" there's an agent in the carriage, in the shot facing Gracie as she tips the carriage, the tray comes loose. However, in the next shot the tray is still attached.

Revealing: While Gracie chases "Fake Dolly," as Dolly runs past the Asian couple her supposed spike heeled shoes have a filled in flat base between the fake spike heel and sole, obviously making it easier to run. When Gracie pins her to the ground, Dolly wears real spike heeled shoes.

Deliberate "mistake": As "Fake Dolly" runs away from Gracie, it is rather obvious in the shot facing Dolly as she runs down the stairs and then when she turns to look behind her, that it really is a fake Dolly running.

Audio problem: More than once Gracie or a member of her entourage is seen watching the distant pirate ship battle from the hotel window. The cannons fire and the blast is heard immediately. In fact, at that range (several thousand feet) there would be a discernable interval between the muzzle flash and the arrival of the weapon report.

Continuity: When Gracie is on TV with Regis, he asks, "Could you give us a little encore..." and points toward the side of the stage with his outstretched left arm, but in the next shot he points with his right arm.

Visible crew/equipment: When Gracie spots "Fake Dolly," Dolly runs and Gracie begins her pursuit. Then just as Gracie trips on the luggage cart, her pretty orange blouse flies up at the back and Sandra Bullock's mic transmitter is visible at the back of her pants. (Note that a bit earlier, after Sam elbows Gracie in the ladies room, it isn't there as Gracie stands up.)

Continuity: At the bank, when Gracie pushes the carriage into the "housewife," she leaps on the woman, the gun goes off and the carriage falls. After it cuts to Clonsky being hit by the bullet, when Gracie and the woman hit the ground the carriage is standing upright. Yet a few shots later, as they grapple for the gun, the carriage is overturned on the floor.

Continuity: When Gracie is toying with Tom Abernathy about the press conference and says, "Ok everybody, I would love to stay and chat," the white handbag strap faces out, but in the next shot it's at the other side of the bag, facing Gracie.

Continuity: When Sam and Gracie spend the night at Foreman's, their pillows, sheets, blankets, things on the coffee table, even Sam's blazer, change repeatedly throughout the scene.

Continuity: In Priscilla's classroom, Gracie removes the girl's hair clips and tosses them across the desk. However, when Priscilla stands up the hair clips are directly in front of Gracie, and they change position as the scene progresses.

Continuity: When Gracie is at the FBI gym, Sam gets in her face and when Gracie says, "A real sorry." Sam puts down her towel and gym bag, which change positions for the duration of the scene.

Other: Gracie Hart makes an appearance on The Regis and Kathie Lee Show. After the show, she is walking down the hallway and a poster displays Live with Regis and Kelly.

Continuity: When Gracie is dressed as the old lady and is waiting in line at the airport, her false old lady breasts change place from shot to shot. Sometimes they are low and sagging, in other shots they are higher up. They also vary in how far apart they are spaced. This is BEFORE she moves them out of the way.

Deliberate "mistake": When Foreman is taking Gracie, and Sam to the hotel, you can look behind Foreman at the background you can see the newer Las Vegas Strip. At first, you can see them going toward the bridge that connects the MGM Grand to New York, New York. In the next shot, you see a completely different part of the strip that is nowhere near New York, New York. Then when Sam says "Where's the best place for me to throw up?" if you look behind Foreman, you can see the Brooklyn Bridge, which means that they are now going the other way.

Continuity: At the airport, when Okun speaks to Collins on the cell phone there is a drink with only a bit of ice in front of Foreman, yet when Foreman goes after Okun, the drink is full of ice.

Continuity: At FBI HQ, when McDonald reads Gracie's fan letter the position of the stationery in his hand noticeably differs between shots, just as it occurs when Gracie holds the letter.

Continuity: During the scene where Gracie interrogates the limo driver at the bar, his drink keeps on changing from being almost gone to almost full. This happens at least twice.

Continuity: At the kidnappers' shack, when one says, "Let's line this up," the TV's position in this shot not only differs in the next close-up, the junk beside the TV stand is gone.

Continuity: While at the bar with Tom Abernathy, Gracie's multi-strand pearl necklace keeps changing positions throughout the scene, with the limo driver.

Factual error: The two loanshark brothers meet their contact at night at Hoover Dam. The dam closes at dark, and is HIGHLY guarded by tight security, due to all the terrorist concerns in the USA. Continuity: When Gracie and Fuller are at the open mic, Gracie throws a lady's wig. In the next shot, the lady is putting on the wig again.

Continuity: After Gracie's target practice at FBI HQ, when she and McDonald are discussing her fan letters, Gracie's hair repeatedly changes position depending on camera angle. This type of thing occurs throughout the film.

Continuity: When Hart is waving the $20 bill in front of Fuller, it changes direction in her hands from shot to shot.

Continuity: When Gracie walks into Priscilla's classroom the teacher's position repeatedly changes, as she stands either near the center of the blackboard or at the end, depending on camera angle.

Continuity: When Gracie leaps on top of Dolly, their positions, and the positions and proximity of the bystanders change between the following shots.

Continuity: At the FBI gym, the sweat stain on McDonald's tank changes throughout the scene.

Continuity: When Gracie and Clonsky walk into the bank, after he puts the baby bag down (both in the overhead shot and close-up) on the counter Gracie turns it. In the following shots, the baby bag and shoulder strap change positions, and the bag turns completely around - note the filled pockets.

Continuity: When Gracie askes Sam for coffee after the "SING" demonstration, she hands her a bill with her palm up. When they switch shots to see Saml, the top of her hand is up. They switch back, and her palm is up again.
