Factual error: In the celebrations at the end of the film one of the celebrating supporters is wearing a pair of Reebok Classics but the design being worn was not released until 1994.
Continuity: While Lindsey and Ben talk in the park, the tree behind the bench keeps moving closer or further away depending on the shot.
Continuity: Lindsay falls down on the playing field and covers her dark jacket with sand. When she stands up, the jacket is without any sand at all.
Factual error: At the end with all the celebrations one of the Arsenal supporters is wearing the shorts from the 1993 red home kit. The scene was supposed to have been in 1989.
Factual error: On 26th May 1989, the Liverpool v Arsenal game kicked off at 8pm, which meant it would be 9:50 at the earliest before the end of the game. Sunset was at 8.59 that day (I checked!) so why is it still light when they're celebrating?
Factual error: There's a scene near the end of the film where a road sweeper is driving around on a mechanical green road sweeper. This was supposed to be 1989 when these were first seen at the earliest in 1994.
