Susan's last name is revealed to be Watkins, Daniels' is Kitner. Chrissie Watkins and Alex Kitner were the first two victims in "Jaws".
The picturesque beach shown a few times during the couple's vacation is Trunk Bay, on the island of St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands. It is a National Park and is notable for its marked underwater snorkel trail.
During filming the actors were not allowed to wear sunscreen because it was too shiny for the camera. They got terrible sunburns from the neck up.
