Continuity: In her office, when Umbridge adds sugar to her tea, she places the spoon on the saucer. When Harry walks in and she says, "You're going to be doing some lines today," there is a close-up of the tea cup and the spoon is gone. After a brief close-up of Harry, the spoon reappears. Continuity: At the beginning of the film when the sky turns grey and it begins to get very windy, Harry and Dudley are standing in the park. As Harry runs away from the swing, between shots the same newspaper blows away from the swing. Submitted by Hamster
Continuity: In the Great Hall, when Dumbledore says, "Good evening children, I have two changes in staffing this year," we see Fred and George Weasley sitting in the fifth and sixth seats, and the other students near the end of the Gryffindor table. Continuity: In the ending shot, as everyone is leaving and walking down the path, Luna is walking behind Hermione. Then she comes from behind and is walking beside her, yet when it cuts, Luna is now back behind Hermione and out-of-sight. Submitted by Hamster
Continuity: When Lord Voldemort is coaxing Harry, Dumbledore appears in the fireplace and his side hair is behind his shoulders. In the next shot it hangs down in front of his shoulders. Then, as the fight between Voldemort and Dumbledore starts, his hair is behind him again. Submitted by Hamster
Revealing: When the students are riding on the Thestralls to London, in one shot Luna's hair is practically still. Seeing as they're flying fast in the air, and the Thestralls's wings are flapping strongly, surely her hair would be blowing more fiercly. Submitted by Hamster
Audio problem: When Luna and Harry converse, as she posts signs for her 'lost' belongings, in the overhead shot of her dangling sneakers she says, "If not always in the way we expect," but her lips are not moving. Submitted by Rikki

Continuity: Dumbledore wears a thin silver strand, with dangling silver balls, tied round his beard, and the position of this strand and height of the silver balls differ in consecutive shots, depending on the camera angle, throughout the film.
