Was Patrick Stewart ever considered or asked to play the role of The Hood? Considering his Star Trek connection with director Jonathan Frakes, it would have seemed like an ideal piece of casting. [I did hear that Patrick Stewart was on the short list of actors to play the role, but he was in demand of both stage and film. He may have been doing X2 at the time.]
How old are the Tracy boys and Tin Tin in the movie? Obviously they are younger then in the show, but how much younger? [I think that in the movie: Alan, Tintin & Fermat are 16, making Gordon 18, Virgil 21, John 23 and Scott 24.]
Is any of the back story concerning the hood and Tintin's father from the tv series itself and does Tintin ever develop telepathic abilities in the tv series as in the movie? [The backstory in the TV series is that Kyrano (Tintin's father) and the Hood are half brothers, giving the Hood the ability to control Kyrano by hyponosis, by staring at a statue of him in his jungle palace. And no, in the TV series Tintin never develops telepathic abilities.]
