Michelle Pfeiffer refused to play the role of Catwoman because she thought her costume in "Batman Returns" (1992) was very uncomfortable.
When Patience goes back to visit the cat lady Ophelia again, after she falls off the balcony and Ophelia throws pictures of catwomen in history down at her, you can see one of the pictures on the floor is Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman from "Batman Returns" (1992).
