Mistake Continuity: In the Moscow car chase, Bourne's car is hit from the driver's side by a patrol car. The driver's side window breaks. In the next few shots, you do not see any broken glass on Bourne. In the very next shot the car is not damaged on the driver's side.

Mistake Factual error: When Bourne escapes from the Hotel Brecker he comes across "Zoologischer Garten," which is near Kurfürstendamm and therefore fine. But after a little more running he finds himself at the train station "Friedrichstraße," which is four stops away from there. He then jumps off the bridge. Since there is no bridge near Zoologischer Garten, this is probably the reason this mistake was necessary.

Mistake Factual error: When Bourne is tapping into the phone of the American consulate investigator to trace Pamela Landy's phone number the area code on the phone call is 757. However, she is calling from Langley, Virginia, which has the area code 703. The mistaken 757 area code refers to Langley Air Force base in Hampton, VA, about 200 miles away from CIA headquarters and is completely unrelated to CIA or Langley, VA.

Mistake Continuity: After escaping interrogation Bourne switches SIM cards and throws the phone back down with it facing down. When we see the American awake the phone is now facing upwards.

Mistake Continuity: In the Moscow car chase, when Bourne's car is hit by a FSB Mercedes which had been hit by a truck, the whole exhaust section of his vehicle is seen collapsing to the ground. In the next shot, the exhaust section is perfect.

Mistake Factual error: During the chase in Moscow, just after Bourne is shot in the shoulder, the Russian assassin runs down a subway entrance, but this is really at Berlin Alexanderplatz. In the background is the Kongresshalle, located just next to the Alexanderplatz, and there is in fact a U-Bahn entrance opposite it.

Mistake Revealing: When the demonstration crowd is assembling in the plaza, there's a yellow tram entering on the left hand side. Watch as someone walks across the tracks in front of it and disappears through the corner of the cab. The shot must be a composite of the crowd amassing and the tram shot separately and then overlayed.

Mistake Factual error: While supposedly being in Moscow, Bourne really gets chased past the German Foreign Ministry. This is a landmark building. A picture of the building, same perspective as in the movie, is found here: http://www.stadtentwicklung.berlin.de/pix/baubilanz/regierungsgebaeude/auswaertiges_amt.jpg

Mistake Continuity: In India when Bourne is running away from the assassin, every time the camera cuts to him we see him run past the same toy windmill stand. This happens three times.

Mistake Factual error: When Bourne is tapping into the phone of the American consulate investigator, the display of his Siemens cell phone shows Pamela Landy's phone number as an incoming call, giving him the option to reply or reject the call. But at this point, they have already been talking for a while.

Mistake Continuity: During the scene where Jason Bourne interrogates the girl from Paris in a tram tunnel, her hair keeps changing from camera angle to camera angle. In one angle, it's off her face; in another angle, it's disheveled and covers the right side of her face.

Mistake Factual error: When Bourne enters Berlin Ostbahnhof, there is a German announcement saying something about "Gleis zwölf" (track 12). Berlin Ostbahnhof only has 11 tracks and 9 platforms.

Mistake Continuity: When Bourne is being chased by the assassin, he leans his seat back all the way in order to switch seats with Marie. After they switch, in the next shot of Marie the seat is back up and she has a seatbelt on. There was no time to do either of those, much less both.

Mistake Continuity: When Bourne does in Berlin the online research in the newspapers about the two murders he is accused of, in the first shot (over Bourne's shoulder) the first word in the entry mask of the search engine is "Medienprodukt" (which, by the way, is a verbatim but bad translation of "media product" and no German would say that). Also in the field "Jahr" (= "year"), we can see that the numbers "198" (instead of 199) have been entered. In the next shot, the close-up of the entry mask, "Medienprodukt" has switched to the better translation, "Medium". The entry in the year field has switched to "1997 - 1999".

Mistake Continuity: When the assassin is following Bourne in Moscow, he stops on a bridge and shoots at Bourne, a second later, when the Moscow police arrive to detain him, his car is not on the bridge anymore.

Mistake Continuity: During the car chase in which Bourne gets shot in the shoulder, his hands get covered with blood, but in several shots his hands are perfectly clean.

Mistake Revealing: Whilst Bourne is following the assassin and drinking his water, he passes some toy windmills. Just before passing them there is a group of people behind Bourne and you can see many are staring towards the camera.

Mistake Factual error: Throughout the whole movie, the German police sirens in Munich and Berlin sound not German at all but American.

Mistake Factual error: When Bourne arrives in Moscow at Kievskii station, he goes to check the address of the dead Russian reformer's daughter, looking in a phone booth yellow pages. There are no phone books, much less yellow pages, in Moscow phone booths.

Mistake Continuity: When Bourne pushes Ward's head to the table and says, "I told you people to leave us alone.", you can see Ward's glasses. Two shots later his glasses suddenly disappear.

Mistake Continuity: In the chase scene toward the end, both Bourne's car and the assassin's stolen jeep are racing down a tunnel. Both of them run several cars off the road while passing them, which should block traffic behind them. Instead, in one long shot of the tunnel, a ton of moving cars can still be seen directly behind them in the tunnel as if traffic was completely normal. Furthermore, even if there was room to drive around the obstructions, nobody thinks it's a good idea to back off from two cars smashing into things?

Mistake Factual error: When Bourne drives from Naples to Berlin, he wakes up from a nightmare at Dreilinden, just outside of Berlin (easily recognizable by the bridge in the background). A few scenes later he is seen driving through an Alpine landscape which he should already have passed long before getting to Germany.

Mistake Continuity: When Bourne makes the call to Pamela Landy from the rooftop, we hear him talking about Nicky. When the camera switches to her, we see she is across the room, away from Pamela. In the next shot, with the view from outside the window, she is standing right next to Pamela, and then moves back again in the next shot.

Mistake Other: In the scene where Jason drops from the bridge to the boat, you see him grab his left leg/knee in pain. But throughout the rest of the film, you see him limping on his right leg.

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: During the fight sequence "The Last Two" between the remaining Treadstone agents, after Bourne is first shoved into the venetian blinds, look on the lower right corner (behind the wall) for a camera operator's hands and the lens hood of their respective camera.

Mistake Other: When Bourne is looking up the address of Hotel Brecker on the website, the street is spelled Kurtürstendamm. It should read Kurfürstendamm with an F. The English translation of this famous street's name is "causeway of the electoral princes"

Mistake Revealing: Early in the movie during the scene which Jason Bourne is being detained, the person from the Consulate while questioning Jason Bourne gets interrupted by a cell phone call. He has a Hand Spring PDA/phone and during the phone conversation you can see a red light flash on top of the phone. If you own one of these phones you know that means you have no cellular signal. How could he be having a phone conversation if he has no signal?

Mistake Continuity: Bourne drags the girl to an underground room and holds her against the wall. Her fringe has at first two hairs down, half a second later, without her having moved, all the hair is covering her forehad, half a second later, from a different angle, she is hiding her face and the hair is neatly combed sideways. And so on for the rest of the scene.

Mistake Factual error: When Bourne's passport is checked at the border leaving Germany to Moscow, his fake Russian last name, Kiniaev, is incorrectly spelled in Cyrillic (Kiniyaev).

Mistake Deliberate "mistake": When the Neski file exchange takes place in the beginning, the Russian says "You can see who stole the money" and the camera shows the Russian documents. The documents (written in Russian), are in fact, a "Journal of Military Activity of Russian Army in April 1945." It is completely bogus and have nothing to do with the film.

Mistake Factual error: When Jason Bourne travels from Berlin to Moscow, the train shown arriving in the station is what Russians call an "elektrichka" - a local commuter train. It's about like having someone travel from Seattle to Chicago on and arrive on the El.

Mistake Continuity: In the main car chase through Berlin, Jason's car is T-boned by the Russian assassin's black Mercedes 4x4. We see a shot of the car spinning and the back bumper/fender is hanging off, held on only by it's very tip on the left hand end and dragging behind. However, in all subsequent shots it's still attached.

Mistake Continuity: In "Identity", Marie has a tattoo on the upper right shoulder portion of her back. In the beginning of "Supremacy", she is walking in a bikini top. We see her back for a few seconds and there is no back tattoo, only the one on her right arm.
