Revealing: During the wedding scene, while the narrator is talking, you can see the string that will pull the left table apart. As said in the commentary, the filmmakers weren't going for the idea of people pulling the tables apart, but rather some other force parting them.

Ella Enchanted (2004) - 6 mistakes
Continuity: In the scene when Char proposes to Ella and then the guards drag her away, the amount, gloss, and color of her lipstick change three times.
Continuity: In the scene where Char is proposing he puts his hands around her neck and they close in back in the next shot his hands are back on her shoulders.
Continuity: In the scene where Slannen is chaining Ella to the tree, a close up of the lock shows that it is positioned over her right hip, but when the camera pulls back, the lock is positioned over her left hip.
Visible crew/equipment: When Ella is tending Char's wound, they get up, and while Char is putting on his shirt you can see his microphone clipped to the back of his pants.
Continuity: When the guard tells Ella to "freeze," she freezes with her mouth closed, yet in the next shot, before she is given another command, her mouth is open. Then, in the next shot, you can see her facial expression has changed slightly. Since she was told to freeze, and hasn't been given another command yet, she should be physically unable to move in any way.
