The cat that Gene Hackman has is the same cat that was in Men in Black, and similarly, the cat is put into a bag in this film just like in MIB.
Seth Green, who plays one of the main surveillance guys in the van, is not listed in the opening or closing credits.
Just a quick note - obvious to many, but a lot of people I know missed him. Note the techie who gets hit by a car after being chased for a while - he's Jason Lee, of Mallrats, Chasing Amy, and Dogma fame. I know, I know, it's obvious, but a few people I know didn't notice until I mentioned it.
