Audio problem: After Philip gets bitten and they all get into his Jaguar, Barbara asks Philip "Are you alright, dear?" As she says this, her lips are not moving.

Visible crew/equipment: Each time Shaun is walking to the shop, as he passes the blue car (after he trips on the pavement) he passes a house. Clearly reflected on the bottom half of this house's window is the boom microphone following Shaun.

Revealing mistake: You can blatantly tell the pub owner zombie has padding on under his shirt for the pool cue attacks. (01:08:35)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Ed smashes the ashtray on the zombie's head, his right hand goes to pick up the ashtray. In the next shot, his right hand is empty and in the close shot of the zombie we see the ashtray in Ed's hand again. (00:30:50)

Continuity mistake: Mary (the checkout clerk who later appears in Shaun's garden as a zombie) works for a fictional supermarket chain, "Landis." But in the opening montage, all the till screens display "Welcome to ASDA" (Asda is a real chain of supermarkets in the UK). (00:03:35)

Continuity mistake: When the shells are firing off in the bar fire, there are three shots of the box of shells. The box refills itself between every shot. (01:21:25)

Continuity mistake: When David is pointing the rifle at Barbara and Shaun, you see the barrel of the rifle and David's hand holding it. When the camera moves so you can see David's face, his hands are higher up on the barrel. It's the same when the camera switches between these two shots again while Shaun and David are arguing. (01:14:25)

Factual error: The records that Shaun and Ed throw at the zombies in their garden shatter when they hit the wall. Only old fashioned 'shellac' records shatter like this -yet all the records were titles released after the introduction of "indestructible" flexible plastic records.

Continuity mistake: In the yard, when Shaun stabs the blue robe zombie, the metal pole still sticks out of his chest a good 4-5 feet, but when Dianne gives her zombie acting lessons the pole barely sticks out of the zombie's chest. (00:56:30)

Other mistake: Ed strikes several zombies while driving the Jaguar. However, the car doesn't even get a single scratch. (00:49:30)

Factual error: The game "Timesplitters 2", which is being shown throughout the film, does not say "Player 2 has entered/left the game" on any system that it is released on, as shown at the start and end of the film. (00:04:25)

Continuity mistake: When Shaun and Ed are threatening David, close ups of David's face show the bottle and corkscrew both being pointed from his left when Shaun and Ed are standing on opposite sides. David is also facing right in wide shots but left in the close ups.

Continuity mistake: In the first shot where we see Ed on the couch playing a video game and Shaun walks in, there's an ashtray of a baby wearing a sombrero. A few shots later, it's gone.

Revealing mistake: Many times during the film the cricket bats can be seen bending when they connect with the zombies, one of the more noticeable occurrences of this is when Shaun runs out of his girlfriend's flat to get to the car, every zombie he hits, the bat bends.

Continuity mistake: During Shaun's second trip to the newsagents, he slips in liquid (no doubt meant to be blood), however once he gets home and he puts his feet up, the soles of his shoes are perfectly clean.

Liz: I love you, Ed
Ed: Cheers.
Shaun: I love you too, Ed.
Ed: Gay.

Question: When Dianne leaves the Winchester to try to help David, what's the background music that plays in the following battle? Does that song have a name so I could look it up, or is there an original soundtrack where I can find it?

Answer: "Burn Down the Sun" by Daniel Mudford & Pete Woodhead, according to this site: http://musicfromfilm.com/movies/shaunofthedead.php. According to http://www.discogs.com/Various-Shaun-Of-The-Dead-Music-From-The-Motion-Picture/release/402748, it's not on the soundtrack (as it's just background music).
