Mistakes

This concerns the criminal to Jesus' left on the cross. If you pay close attention to the criminal's right hand, you can tell that the part of his hand that is nailed (past the area of the thumb) is obviously not his. When he moves around this part doesn't, and his wrist moves independently from the rest of his hand. Difficult to explain, but it is there. See more...

Trivia

Maia Morgenstern read the script for the movie 200 times before filming. See more...

The Passion of the Christ (2004)

Directed by Mel Gibson, starring James Caviezel (add more)

Genres: Drama

This is an unusual example, as Mel Gibson has stated that he wants this film to be accurate to the bible/history, as much as possible. Therefore specific historical differences, which might be attributed to artistic licence for most films, are valid mistakes for this.
