Mistake Revealing: Prior to the animal show, just before Harry feeds the second dog, you can see someone in the back throw a treat through the curtains to get the dog to go up front.

Mistake Revealing: When Lloyd and Mary are going to the airport, you can see a white van out the rear window. The driver is turning the steering wheel, but he keeps going straight.

Mistake Continuity: When Lloyd is driving Mary to the airport, at one point he says "What's the matter, nervous about the flight?" When he says this look at the white van in the rear window, it's right up next to the limo. However when the shot cuts to Mary it's already several meters behind them despite the very slow movement the limo has made.

Mistake Continuity: When Lloyd drops Mary off at the airport and hugs her goodbye, in the background there are two men walking towards them. The camera changes to the angle behind Mary then behind Lloyd and then back to the side. When it returns to the side view the two men are farther away but still walking toward them.

Mistake Revealing: After Lloyd drops Mary off at the airport, he starts the limousine and puts the car into reverse, but the car moves forward.

Mistake Revealing: When the air bag inflates at the airport and Lloyd is wrestling with it for a split second he pulls it back and you can see it is not attached to the steering wheel.

Mistake Revealing: When Lloyd drives into the back of a car at the airport his air bag inflates and it looks it is made out of thin rubber translucent material. That is not what real air bags are made of.

Mistake Continuity: Speaking of the airbag mistake, how about the fact that the hub of the steering wheel in the Cadillac Limo was small, and could no way have an air bag behind it?

Mistake Continuity: When Mary leaves her briefcase on the airport floor, Jim Carrey is seen running and sliding to the briefcase. In the scene directly preceding that, he is nowhere to be seen, yet instantly he is teleported within 20 feet of the briefcase.

Mistake Continuity: Right after Lloyd runs into the jetway at the airport, the guy who witnesses his fall moves to the window to watch. He is grinning from ear to ear in his reflection, but immediately has a 'that had to hurt' look in the next shot.

Mistake Continuity: In the scene at Harry and Lloyd's apartment, one of them opens a beer and throws the cap on the floor. In different shots the beer cap moves from place to place on the floor.

Mistake Continuity: When Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are in the restaurant, just before they encounter Seabass and right after they call the waitress "Flo", Jeff's coke glass is on his right side. The next shot shows it on his left, then his right, then his left again, without him touching it.

Mistake Continuity: When Lloyd and Harry are in the restaurant notice Lloyd's fork. In the side shot there is no fork, but when it changes to a front shot the fork appears. This happens several times throughout the scene.

Mistake Continuity: In the scene at the truck stop, just before C-Bass comes over to Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniel's table, the same teenage boy walks by the window twice with his girlfriend. Also, the "Aspen" hotel is really The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado. The Stanley is the hotel Stephen King based The Shining on.

Mistake Continuity: When Harry and Lloyd are at the truck stop, there is a man sitting behind Lloyd. In the shots of Harry only, he is leaning towards the window, in the shots of Lloyd only, he is sitting up straight.

Mistake Continuity: When Lloyd tells Harry to throw some salt over his right shoulder, he puts the salt shaker next to Harry's burger and fries. The next shot shows the salt shaker behind the basket of Harry's food.

Mistake Continuity: When Lloyd is peeing in the beer bottles, he hands them to Harry... it shows him holding the bottles... next shot, he isn't holding them, and the shot after that, he is holding them again.

Mistake Continuity: When they have left the cafe without paying, and Lloyd has to pee, Harry's hair is blowing in one shot because the window is down and in the next shot the window is up and his hair is not blowing. This goes back and forth for the duration of the scene.

Mistake Factual error: Why don't the "beer" bottles on the floor of the van fall over? When the cop stops Harry and Lloyd the bottles are all standing perfectly upright and there has not been any spillage on the floor. Bear in mind that before this they had been driving on the verge and stopping and swaying when the cop tells them to pull over. And Harry is only holding 3, and yet 6 appear on the floor.

Mistake Continuity: When the policeman is driving next to Harry and Lloyd's van telling them to pull over after their encounter with Sea Bass, the lines on the road are single broken lines. After they pull over, the police man walks over to the van and the road lines are double solid.
