Continuity: In the scene where Mary leaves her briefcase on the airport floor, Jim Carrey is seen running and sliding to the briefcase. In the scene directly preceding that, he is nowhere to be seen, yet instantly he is teleported within 20 feet of the briefcase.

Factual error: When Lloyd drives into the back of a car at the airport his air bag inflates and it looks it is made out of thin rubber translucent material. That is not what real air bags are made of.

Continuity: In the scene where Nicholas Andre shoots Harry twice in the chest, the gun is empty after the two shots. The camera then moves to Harry getting up and shooting back. When the camera returns to Nicholas, the gun is not empty.

Audio problem: When Harry and Lloyd are sitting at the truck stop, Harry spills the salt. Just before this you can hear the salt being knocked over. There are 4 quick noises then another about a second after that. When salt shakers fall, they don't make five noises just one.

Continuity: In the scene where Harry and Mary are making the snowman, there are three pre-formed holes where Mary puts the charcoal and carrot (the eyes and nose, not the twig and berries, but maybe them too, I can't tell for sure).

Continuity: Speaking of the airbag mistake, how about the fact that the hub of the steering wheel in the Cadillac Limo was small, and could no way have an air bag behind it?

Continuity: In the scene at the truck stop, just before C-Bass comes over to Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniel's table, the same teenage boy walks by the window twice with his girlfriend. Also, the "Aspen" hotel is really The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado. The Stanley is the hotel Stephen King based The Shining on.

Continuity: At the ball Helen and Harry are talking and in the background you can see Lloyd and his hat is on the bar. A second later he shows off his butt and he is holding his hat.

Continuity: When Mary's family is shown in their home in Aspen. Mary is sitting on the couch with hot chocolate in hand, and is shown with her right leg crossed over her left. However, when Nicholas walks in, magically Mary's left leg is crossed over her right.

Continuity: When the airbag blows it stays inflated. It should instantly deflate. [Apparently early airbags didn't have an exhaust hole, so they stayed inflated (also suffocating the driver, in some cases)].

Continuity: You have to know Colorado to get this one, but the two guys are on a trip to Aspen to return the suitcase to the woman. But when they finally arrive, they are not actually in Aspen like you are supposed to assume they are. The whole Aspen scenario actually takes place in Breckenridge ski resort.

Continuity: A police office states that Harry and Lloyd were last seen heading west on I-80 towards Colorado. I-80 doesn't actually go into Colorado.

Continuity: When Lloyd is leaving the bar, he reads the headline on the newspaper framed on the wall and then says something about landing on the moon. Later in the hotel room, he has a lot of trouble reading the headline about Mary Swanson, and has problems reading the word "the" which was on the headline in the bar. Did he forget how to read? [The bedroom scene comes first. Or how could he have had that date at the bar without meeting her at the party first?]

Continuity: In the scene where Lloyd has drove the dog car the wrong way across the plains, and Harry yells at Lloyd and says that he is walking home, the camera views Lloyd calling Harry Mr. Perfect for about 8 seconds and then shows a far view of Harry walking about 60 feet away from Lloyd. I don't think he can walk that fast in 8 seconds.
