Continuity: Tad Hamilton is speaking to his agent on the phone in his motel room. While he is lying on the bed he takes off right shoe, leaving his left one on. Then the camera cuts away for a second, and when it comes back, Tad has his right shoe on and his left off.
Continuity: In the scene where Rosalee returns to the Piggly Wiggly Supermarket from her date with Tad, the camera shows her standing in front of a register and on the screen nothing has been rung up and it is blank. It shoots to Pete and then back to Rosalee where you can see that at least 20 items have been rung up and the screen is full of prices.
Continuity: When Tad arrives at his hotel, there is a wall clock behind the desk that reads 7:20( I assume it is PM because the clerk say have a good evening plus when he gets to his room he turns on the TV and a baseball game is on.) However when he gets to Rosalee's house for his 7pm date, her wall clock reads 6:50 pm.
Other: In the scene where Rosalee and Tad are talking on the airplane, in the background with the two airplane windows one is white like it's a cloud and the other one is blue like blue sky, and they don't change for the whole talking scene. So it's like they stopped in mid air.
Continuity: In the last scene, Rosalee catches up to Pete's car on the highway. She pulls up alongside his car at a high speed, causing him to brake severely and run into a post on the side of the road before coming to an abrupt stop. But when he steps out of the car, her car is already parked behind his. He stopped so quickly that she must have taken longer to stop, so her car should be in front of his by the time they pulled off the road.
Factual error: When Pete is in the office of the Piggly Wiggly and his "boss" asks when they will be losing him to Richmond. Pete states that he has already received his acceptance letter from Virginia State (University). Virginia State is in Petersburg, VA not Richmond. The writers most likely put the capitol city in the film, considering more people would know where they were talking about.
Continuity: When Rosalee catches up to Pete at the end, Pete ironically does a double take twice in sequential shots.
Continuity: When Pete is in the Men's room and Tad walks in to the toilet, we hear Tad lock the door, but Pete manages to open it even so.
