After the incident on the police motor tricycle Judge Reynolds (who has his son 'inside' him) sits on a chair at the police station with his right arm/wrist cuffed to what looks like a pipe on the wall. Then the solicitor arrives (who is the boy's stepfather) and suddenly Judge appears not to be cuffed anymore and can walk away. [A policeman can be seen undoing Judge's cuffs.]
