Continuity: At the hospital, after Potter fell off his broom as Hermione says "No one blames you, Harry", you can see Ron standing behind her. At this time we can see the letter "H" on the cloth that is wrapped around the broom. Later, the letter "E" is visible instead. Submitted by Mortug
Continuity: At the dinner table when Aunt Marge says "Vernon, do something" the cloth in front of her on the table is fine. When it cuts the cloth is crinkled. Submitted by Mortug
Continuity: In the paddock scene, Harry's tie changes length. When he is in the paddock the narrow end of the tie is longer. When flying on Buckbeak, his tie is properly even. Then when he returns to the paddock, his tie is uneven once again.
Continuity: During Hagrid's class, Vincent Crabe has his shirt outside his pants. He puts his things on the wall and when Draco and Harry are talking, his shirt is now half tucked into his pants. He didn't have the time to do that. Submitted by Dr Wilson
Continuity: In the shrieking shack, the cobweb on the ceiling changes position between shots.

Continuity: At Shrieking Shack when Lupin says "You sold James and Lilly to Voldemort, didn't you?" to Pettigrew, you see Pettigrew holding onto the piano with his left hand. Next shot he isn't holding onto it. Submitted by Mortug
Continuity: In the beginning when Aunt Marge says, "The bitch and the pup" and Harry yells at her, Mrs. Dursley turns to look at Harry. When the shot changes, Mrs. Dursley is now facing the table, away from Harry.
Continuity: When Potter has entered the Knight Bus you see him passing a bed. While doing so he grabs the bed pole and lets go of it, but when it cuts you can see him still holding the pole. Submitted by Mortug
Audio problem: When Fudge is standing behind Harry's chair, Harry asks, "Sirius Black, you mean?" At the top of the screen Fudge's mouth visibly moves as if he were saying, "Yes", but nothing is heard.
