Continuity mistake: The weather changes at least twice during the end sequence at Meteor Crater. Take a look at the clouds in the background of all of the shots, especially those looking at the San Francisco Peaks (near Flagstaff, AZ). The extreme long shots of the helicopters coming show dark clouds, while the wide shots show a mix of cloud free and then cloudy skies.

In spite of being chased by the cops, army, and the federal government, and thanks to getting help from strangers and formerly spineless Agent Shermin, Jenny and the Starman make it to Meteor Crater and he is picked up. He tells her: "Would you like to know what I find beautiful about your species? You are at your best when things are at their worst."
