Jeepers Creepers 2 (2003) - 39 mistakes

Continuity: When Farmer Taggert and his older son are chasing the Creeper as he's dragging away the younger boy, the sun is at their backs. As they watch the Creeper fly away with the son a minute later, the sun is now in front of them, having moved 180 degrees.

Deliberate "mistake": When the Creeper gets stabbed throught the eye with the javelin, it goes through the front of his eye, but when it comes out the other end the eye is facing backward.

Continuity: Just after the man says 'he looks dead to me' (he means the Creeper) he walks past the girl who holds the black guy sitting/laying on the ground. The black guy is buried deep in her arms and he holds his right arm half over his face and on her left elbow. His fellow 'pupils' walk to him. Next shot: his fellow pupils walk to him, but now his right arm is lower, exposing his face and his right hand is now at his chin instead of on her left elbow.

Continuity: When the coach has been taken away by the Creeper, Scott moves forward passing two guys saying "Where the hell is the coach?" When it cuts he is behind the two guys.

Continuity: At the end, when Taggart gets off the truck after he fired into the Creeper's head, the spear he is holding changes from pointing up to pointing down.

Factual error: When the kid is wrapped in the Creeper's wing and has his head ripped off, no blood comes out of the top of the body. With the body flailing around and a big hole like that, some blood should have come out, if not a massive amount.

Continuity: When Scotty asks Minxie if the Creeper will keep on coming for the ones he has picked (right before he tries to throw the marked kids out) she starts to turn away to the left, but in the next shot she is turning to the right.

Visible crew/equipment: When the farmer fires the hole puncher cannon at the Creeper the first time with the line attached, the screen changes to a higher view, from here you can see there are two lines attached to the cannon, but he only fired one. This would be for the crew to pull the truck around safely.

Continuity: As the assistant coach is grabbed from the bus doorway, the same reaction shot (Izzy standing up as Chelsea and Rhonda fall backwards) is played twice from different angles.

Continuity: When Izzy finds the javelins on the bus, Bucky is the only person at the front of the bus (because he is trying to call on the radio). In the next shot Scotty appears out of nowhere at the front of the bus and yells, "Sticks. You want to hang around here so that you can poke at this thing with STICKS?" with Bucky standing right next to him.

Factual error: In the beginning of the movie, it states that every 23rd Spring, for 23 days it eats. I am no farmer, but isn't there that saying KNEE HIGH BY FORTH OF JULY? From the looks of that corn, it looks like it is October or even November...Definately NOT SPRING in TEXAS.

Continuity: When the Creeper has grabbed on to Bucky's head through the bus roof, we see Bucky holding on to both poles in the bus, then he moves his hand over holding one pole with both hands. When it cuts from behind him he is holding on to both poles.

Revealing: Right before the Creeper punches the hole in the bus roof, the outline reveals where the hand shall come through.

Continuity: When Jack Sr. and Jack Jr. run towards the tractor, after hearing Billy scream, Jack is holding onto the rifle with both hands. When it cuts he places his left hand on the rifle again.

Revealing: When Izzy pushes Rhonda out of the moving truck, if you watch in slow motion you can see him pretend to open the door and then just push Rhonda down to the seat, out of sight.

Revealing: When the Creeper has been harpooned, he flies in the air dragging the pick-up truck with him. The pick-up truck moves towards the back of the school bus. If you look carefully you can see that the cable attached between harpooned Creeper and pick-up truck at times hangs too loose to be able to pull the truck, so obviously the truck is moving on its own (with hidden mechanics, which you by the way can't see).

Revealing: When the group is running on the field, before Scotty gets his hand stabbed to the tree, there is a shot of a girl running and behind her all the others are blurred, as if its a green screen.

Continuity: When Billy leaves the second scarecrow to check out the Creeper, the bends in the wire on the scarecrow change.

Revealing: When the creeper has the pole through his eye and is pushing it in and out, the pole appears to be moving however there is a clear dot on the pole that stays where it is in relation to his face.

Continuity: After Taggart shoots the creeper the first time, he says, "He's gonna rip my gun out of my truck!". After they jump out of the truck, it gets nearly totaled and the gun is ripped off. Later at the end, he shoots the creeper with the SAME truck and the same gun, as if he fixed his truck and re-welded the gun to his truck in seconds.

Continuity: After the Creeper has fallen on the bus roof one of the kids goes to look up the hole on the roof. First, as he is climbing up he is placing his right arm up by the hole. When it cuts his right hand is down holding the steering wheel.

Continuity: When the assistant coach is grabbed everyone runs to help him. In the shots from outside we can see Izzy right inside the doorway holding onto the bar, but in the shots from behind he's disappeared and there's no one holding the bar.

Continuity: When Betty and Coach Hanna are going through the "lock-box", she pulls out the flare gun and the Coach's arms go from being pulled in to his chest in one shot and reached out for the gun in the next.

Other: When Coach Hanna catches the cheerleaders smoking, they turn around, caught off-guard, and have to hold in smoke in their mouths. After he turns away to get people back in the bus, they all blow out smoke and cough, even though they hadn't even inhaled any when they turned around.

Continuity: When the creature flies over Kimball and he looks up for it, Kimball changes from facing his left before the shot change to facing right in the closeup.

Continuity: When Double D takes a leak, he's standing there for a long time and you can hear the sound of urine. The Creeper flies above, and he looks up. Look at the ground, and you'll see it's completely dry.

Continuity: When Dante finds the flare gun it's obvious that a lot of material has been cut on either side (as you can see in the DVD extras), since the flares are at the front of the bus and he isn't visible up there in any other shot during the whole exchange.

Revealing: When the Creeper is chasing Izzy, Rhonda and Double D in the truck at the end, during the overhead shot of Izzy pulling off the road you can see the tire tracks from previous takes.

Continuity: When the Creeper rips his head off to replace it, he throws it in front of the bus, hitting the windscreen and leaving a mark. Later on, there is no mark and no head in front of the bus.

Continuity: When the birds suddenly fly away, it startles Double D and he falls over and yells. In the next shot, all the people look up to see what happened. It then shows Double D fall over again in the next shot.

Continuity: When Izzy, Minxie and Double D are running away in the car, there is a shot inside the car where Izzy tells Minxie to get out, but there is not sight of Double D in the back window. When it cuts, D is leaning against the window.

Continuity: When they all decide to head for the farm, as Scottie gets out of the bus, the distance between the kids changes drastically between the shots.

Continuity: When Rhonda grabs a javelin and spears the Creeper through the head to save Bucky, he loosens his grip and they all back away. The javelin is left sticking out of the hole, jerking around for a bit, and then is suddenly lifted out of the roof. In the next shot of the Creeper on top of the bus the javelin is still in the hole, and then he lifts it out slowly.

Continuity: When Minxie is beginning to having her "dream," she looks to her left because she is on the left side of the bus. But before and after this, she is on the right side of the bus. The vision occurs on the right side of the road, so she didn't change places in the dream.

Continuity: The first time Bucky is grabbed by the Creeper, Double D and Big K are the first two to run to help him but when the angle changes Double D and Izzy are the first two to reach him. There's no way he'd be able to overtake Big K in the two seconds it takes to run up a bus.

Revealing: When the kids are running through the cornfield, how can it be they cast two shadows? At night in no mans land there is only one light source, the moon (and even the moon wouldn't shine so bright).

Continuity: When the bus driver lights the flare she holds it in her left hand. When the Creepers grabs her it's in her right hand.

Continuity: When Minxie sees the Creeper outside the bus window and they all hide under the seats, the lights are on. Seconds later as it stops above Jake and starts sniffing the lights are seen to be off. (Still a mistake, despite the deleted scene.)

Continuity: Towards the beginning of the movie, the kids in the bus are singing and you can initially see the road behind the bus and there is no car behind the bus, but almost immediately, a kid motions that a truck is coming and to hold up the banner on the side of the car.
