Uniform mistake: the Australian style "bush hat" worn by Capt. Lewis is only worn by a female drill Sgt. i.e. non-commissioned officers, never a commissioned officer (a.r 670-1). [This is a deliberate costume choice, not a mistake. In order to show an authentic US military uniform on film, permission must first be obtained from The Pentagon. It isn't easy to get and can be denied for whatever reason they choose. So, to get around this filmmakers will make deliberate 'mistakes' such as the wrong shoulder flashes, footwear or decorations, or in this case the wrong hat. Since this means the uniform is not 'authentic', no permission is needed to show it on film. Bizarre but true.]
