Continuity: When Elizabeth is dining with Barbossa aboard the Black Pearl, cutting between the front shots and side shots she holds the turkey leg differently in her left hand. Also held differently in her right hand is the bread when Barbossa offers her the apple and she looks at the monkey between the two shots. (Time) Submitted by Rikki

Continuity: Near the beginning of the film, after Jack rescues Elizabeth and her father gives her a jacket, she stuffs the medallion down her shirt, Jack then takes her hostage, where the Medallion is visible around her neck. (Time)

Continuity: Just after Jack and Will have duelled, Jack gets knocked out by the drunken Mr Brown. Norrington looks at Mr Brown and says his line, yet when the camera cuts to a different view, he is now looking at Jack and not at Mr Brown. (Time)

Continuity: At the beginning of the film when the young Elizabeth wakes up Will, then he faints, his head changes position between shots from being pointed slightly up, to resting on his shoulder. Also before he wakes up, his hand's distance from his head changes between shots. (Time)

Continuity: Young Elizabeth's individual hair curls differ in consecutive shots early in the film. They vary from looser, tighter, shorter and longer, as well as the hair that is pulled up. When adult Elizabeth's hair is done up in curls, they change significantly in consecutive shots as well. Continuity: The right side of Elizabeth's face is twice slapped very hard (first by Boswain and second by Barbossa) but she never has a noticeable bruise, swelling, or other injury to her jaw or cheek.

Continuity: Jack sets his hat down on the fireplace, in the blacksmith shop. Sometimes the angle of Jack's hat changes, within close-up and wide shots, even while they're duelling. (Time) Submitted by Rikki

Continuity: On the island, after regaining consciousness, when Jack puts his hands up to his face and desperately asks, "But why is the rum gone?" his fingernails are totally clean. Continuity: When Elizabeth asks, "Well, then can't we lose them amongst those shoals?" in the front shot, her hair is in front of her shoulders and in the side shot, her hair is behind her shoulder, on her back. This occurs many times throughout the film with Elizabeth's loose, long hair - wet and dry, such as on the dock, after Jack rescues her in Port Royal, and after Will rescues her when they board the Interceptor. Continuity: As Jack and Will are walking under water, holding the boat over their heads, in the interior shot, when the camera pans into the water, Will's right sleeve is covering his right arm, but in the wide shot, Will's right sleeve is rolled up to his elbow. (Time) Submitted by Rikki

Audio problem: In the scene where Jack is to be hung, there is an official reading off the list of Jack's crimes. In the shot over Will's left shoulder, you can see the reader in the upper left hand corner of the screen. In that shot, you can see that his mouth is not in sync with his words. (Time)

Continuity: When Elizabeth is hiding from the pirates in the closet, and the pirates first enter the room, you can see that the carpet is folded back (from her opening the door) quite a bit. When the pirates see the carpet pushed back and know where Elizabeth is hiding, just a small corner of the carpet is pushed back. (Time)

Continuity: When Will is hanging from the mast while Jack is talking to him, the clouds in the background behind Jack changes more than normal during the shots. (Time) Submitted by Mortug

Continuity: When Jack and Will are under the bridge, and Jack says, "We're going to commandeer that ship. Nautical term," his right cheek is clean. When he turns to ask Will "One question about your business..." there is a broad black smudge running from his right cheek to the right side of his nose. As he turns around after Will's answer and says, "No worries..." his right cheek is again clean, without ever having touched his face. (Time)

Continuity: When Elizabeth is taken aboard the Black Pearl, Bo'sun slaps her face. Bo'sun's hand never makes any contact with Elizabeth's face, but the sound effect makes it very convincing. Also, in the first side shot of the slap, when Bo'sun starts to say, "You'll speak..." it's the back of her left hand that touches her cheek, and we can see the white corner of her night gown under the robe sleeve. In the next front shot, it's the palm of her hand that is touching her cheek now and the white night gown doesn't show at the sleeve. (Time) Submitted by Rikki

Continuity: Being chased by the Pearl, the Interceptor lowers the anchor and it catches a rock. After a few shots on deck the next shot below deck, is of the table with the medallion on it. As the table starts to tip we see the medallion and chain. In the next close-up shot, the chain is lying on the table differently. The chain didn't start to slide between shots, only after the second shot. (Time) Submitted by Rikki

Continuity: Pintel yells out, "How do we tell?" and his jacket is covering a reasonable amount of the white shirt underneath. In the next shot of him when he's shot by Barbossa, more of the white shirt is visible, so the bullet hole can be seen. (Time) Submitted by Rikki

Audio problem: After Jack saves Elizabeth at the beginning of the movie, Norrington is searching his weapons. As he takes out Jack's compass he opens it and in the next shot you can hear the clicking of the closing compass although the compass is still open.
