Alex and Emma (2003) - 8 mistakes
Directed by Rob Reiner, starring Kate Hudson, Luke Wilson, Rob Reiner (add more)
Continuity: When Alex and Emma are at lunch at a restaurant talking, Emma holds her fork up. The fork has a little orange carrot on it. It cuts to Alex, then when it shoots back to Emma, instead of a piece of carrot, it is something lumpy and yellow. It does this repeatedly.
Continuity: In the scene where Adam visits Elsa in her room, Elsa makes tea. Adam starts to talk to her about destiny and she leans against the drawer behind her. Then it goes to the next shot when Adam mentions Polina. Then in the next shot, Elsa is standing right in front of him and is freaked and pours the boiling water on Adam's pants.
Visible crew/equipment: When Adam is riding in the car behind Polina on the way to her house on St. Charles, her scarf is supposed to be blowing in the wind, but you can see a thin wire/line holding it up at the end of the scarf, plus it makes the brim of Adam's hat move as the wire hits it.
Continuity: Throughout the movie, Emma is removing/putting on her glasses. At one point, Emma is shown from the front, no glasses. Then the camera goes to Alex, and Emma is shown from the back, but with glasses on. When the camera returns to Emma, she is without the glasses again.
Factual error: When Alex first meets Emma, he claims the law firm of Van Buren, Polk, etc. is in the Prudential Tower. Yet, in the last scene where he is trying to win Emma back, you can see the Prudential Tower outside the window of the office they are in (to the right of the John Hancock tower).
Continuity: In the scene where the two men are trashing Alex's apartment for the second time there is a shot of Emma backed up against a wall. She has her hands up by her face and the sleeves of her shirt fully cover her arms. As the shots changes one of her sleeves is down by her elbow, in the next shot its back where it was. This happens a couple of times.
Continuity: In the beginning of the movie, it shows Emma with something on her forehead, a scratch, scar, etc. It looks like it had been tried to be covered with cover-up. But in the same shot you can see it dissapear over the course of about one/two seconds then it is completely gone. You can see the scar throughout the movie.
