The Master of Disguise (2002) - 29 mistakes

Continuity: When Fabrizzio is disguised as Bo Derek, and is running away, after she glides off of the balcony, four people run to the balcony ledge to watch her. In the next close-up there’s only three people.

Plot hole: When Pistachio and Jennifer go to the toy convention to find Bowman she says her name is Barbara, and Bowman invites her to his house. When Pistachio comes looking for her at the door (as the German Guy and the Snobby English Guy) he says he needs to talk to Jennifer Barker. Wouldn't he ask to see Barbara instead of Jennifer? Also Bowman knows her as Barbara and didn't say anything about him calling her Jennifer.

Continuity: At the start when Pistachio's dad is in the car, you see in the background that they are on a road, but when you see a wider outside shot, he isn't driving on a road.

Continuity: When the grandfather comes with the Exorcist theme song playing, he has a briefcase, but in different shots, it disappears.

Continuity: When Pistachio is dressed a the cherryman, he spits his cherries at the henchman. He turns and spits one cherry, hitting one henchman right on the forehead. The henchman then falls backwards into the swimming pool, causing a huge splash. But in the very next shot, the water is totally still and the henchman seems to have disappeared from the pool.

Audio problem: When Pistachio has the flashback in the gym, the guy says, "Think you got muscles now, try this." When Pistachio says O.K, his mouth doesn't move at all.

Continuity: When Pistachio is fighting the ninjas, he does multiple back flips in the air and then is about to land on the stage, facing the camera. In the next shot his back is suddenly facing the camera.

Continuity: After the fight in the restaurant, Jennifer is standing by the table with nothing in her hands. As they turn to leave she suddenly holds an envelope.

Continuity: In the scene where Mr. Peru is asking the waiter for things that he doesn't have, the shrunken head in his hand disappears between shots.

Continuity: When Grandfather gives Pistachio the "nest in a box," the shots change. One is the tables with the red tablecloth, which we see at the beginning. At a different angle, we see tables with tan tablecloths.

Continuity: After Barney falls off of his skateboard, into a hedge, he gets up and starts walking along, while the dog rides the skateboard. As he walks along, protective hand pads appear on his hands between shots.

Continuity: When Jennifer opens the briefcase at Bowman’s party and finds the photos, the items in the briefcase move about, changing their positions.

Continuity: When Jennifer and Pistachio are looking at the photos in the restaurant, in a wide shot Pistachio holds a photo, and on the table in front of him there is an envelope, but no photos. But in the next close-up, Pistachio throws the photo he was holding onto a pile of photos on the table, which were not there in the previous wide shot.

Other: When Pistachio is tripped and the spaghetti dinners fall on four customers heads, there is one man with spaghetti hanging all down his face. This man wears glasses, and somehow the spaghetti is hanging behind his glasses, instead over hanging over them.

Continuity: When Pistachio meets Trent, Jennifer goes to get her purse. The Trent starts to bully Pistachio. Between shots the same black car passes them twice. The second time it passes by, when the camera cuts to another angle, the car has now suddenly disappeared.

Continuity: When one of the henchies steps in the cowpat, between shots the properties of the cowpat change, obviously due to the replacement of the fake one between shots.

Revealing: When Pistachio gets out of the cherry pie, he is covered in cherries and cherry juice, yet when he runs away from the guards, he leaves no cherry juice footprints.

Continuity: When Pistachio is disguised as Robert Shaw, you can see a ladder that he uses later to escape. In one shot, the ladder disappears.

Continuity: When the grandfather asks where the nest is and Pistachio says the attic, he is sitting down really close to the wall. In the next shot, when he stands up, he isn't even close to any walls.

Continuity: At the beginning, Fabrizzio is disguised as a woman. When he gets in the getaway van with the grandfather, they are in front of Bowman's mansion. When Fabrizzio takes off his disguise, look in the back window. It shows that they are on the road. When the van is driving away, they are still in front of the mansion.
