The Matrix Revolutions (2003) - 45 mistakes

Visible crew/equipment: As the Oracle stands up from the bench, right at the end (after she says "Someday"), you can see a strip of yellow tape on the back of the bench marking the right place for her to sit.

Continuity: Sati and her family leave one suitcase when they get on the train (the one Neo was carrying), but when the train comes back and Trinity steps out, there is no suitcase. It can't have gone anywhere - as we see when Neo tries, the only way out is on the train, otherwise you're caught in a loop.

Continuity: In the scene where Neo sees the oracle at her home, as the shots go back and forth during the dialog immediately after she sits down, her cigarette pack goes from closed to slightly open several times, until she takes a cigarette, then it stays slightly open.

Continuity: When Trinity dies, the blood behind Neo's right ear keeps appearing and disappearing between shots.

Continuity: At the very end when Oracle is sitting on a park bench, she and Sati look at the sunrise between some skyscrapers. About a minute later, there is another shot of the sunrise, but in this shot the skyscrapers are considerably shorter.

Continuity: At the beginning of the movie when Trinity and Morpheus first go to visit the Oracle, if you look behind them there are two wooden frames that are on the back wall where Seraph is, then a few shots later they are on the wall where Trinity and Morpheus walked in.

Continuity: In the middle of the film when the captains and crews of both ships are discussing routes, the first shot we see Niobe. Behind her there is a guy at the side of her with a grey like t-shirt or jumper. The following shot he is standing behind her.

Revealing: During the battle of the dock, just before Shara takes her second shot at the digger, she is seen from behind as her weapon is being loaded. As Zee is about to slide the rocket in, the green screen is momentarily visible through the barrel.

Other: At the beginning of the film when Trinity, Morpheus and Seraph are fighting the doorman at the Merovingian's club, Trinity shoots one of the doorman at very close range, but from the back we see only two exit wounds.

Continuity: Just after Neo has seen the Oracle he is jacked out Trinity says "How are you feeling, are you alright?", her hand is on Neo's shoulder. The following shot her hand is on his back, then back to his shoulder.

Revealing: In the scene where Captain Mifune is defending a bridge, alone, and commands "reload", he put the right arm of the APU straight, revealing in the background some sparks that floats independent of the action and stops for a few moments.

Continuity: When Smith is finally destroyed there is a wide shot and a close shot of the Oracle lying in the water filled crater. In the wide shot, there is a lot more water; her arm is completely underwater and so is half her face. In the close up, her head is almost entirely above water and her arm is visible.

Continuity: Near the beginning when we see Neo walk into the room where the captains, Morpheus, Trinity, and the others are, if you look at Trinity she is standing behind Link in one shot, then he is standing behind her in another, and it is like this for several shots.

Continuity: Close to the end of the film when some of the people from Zion are trying to blow the legs off of the diggers, in one particular shot you can see that they only load the right side of the rocket launcher, but in the next shot both sides are loaded.

Continuity: Towards the beginning of the Super Burly Brawl scene (right after Agent Smith gets knocked down on the road), Agent Smith and Neo fly up in the air and collide with each other, causing a massive surge of water to spread out as if a bomb went off. The water then falls back down on the Agent Smith clones, who are now looking up. But if you pay close attention it seems like they are completely dry, despite the fact that they have been standing in the rain and are all soaked.

Continuity: In the final battle Neo/Smith scene, when Smith crashes Neo into the ground, the crash causes several cars to fly. When all the Smiths head to the hole to watch, the overturned cars are gone.

Revealing: In the subway scene, when Neo gets slammed towards the wall (and crashes into it) it's visibly Keanu's stunt double.

Audio problem: As the trio break into the club, they take on some bouncers. One of them gets his gun turned on him by Trinity, pushed right into his chest - we hear two gunshots, with corresponding wounds, then a third shot which has no effect.

Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where The Oracle is talking to Trinity and Morpheus, you can see the stage lights in the glasses worn by Morpheus.

Continuity: At the start, When they're running a search for Neo in the Matrix, Morpheus' arms keep switching. For example, in one of the closeups, his arms are by his side, when in the previous shot it's rested on his chin. And when that guy comes in and says 'Sir, I've got the projections,' his arms are folded.

Continuity: As the three start to fight at the Merovingian's club: after Trinity snaps there is a shot of Seraph pushing someone down as the man in black pulls the gun on him. To the right, there is a guy who is hurled to the floor by Trinity. In the next shot, Trinity hurls the man again.

Revealing: When Neo kicks Smith through the window, if you look carefully you will see that it is a stunt double.

Revealing: During the scene with Deus Ex Machina, see carefully the shot when Neo says "I won't" you will see two strange horizontal lines going down; visible specially on the left side of the screen. They are visible in the trailer too.

Revealing: During the fight for the dock, after the first APU calls for a reload, Kid is seen in an ammo bay right before a fellow ammo runner is being sent out. As the door opens, a sentinel attacks them and all of them react surprised, except the ammo runner and the guy standing next to him, who don't react at all.

Revealing: When Smith goes to see the Oracle and he puts two of his fingers inside her forearm, if you slow it down there is a circle where the green effects start, they don't start from inside.

Continuity: When Trinity, Morpheus and Seraph go to see the Merovingian in his club, there is a fight scene before they enter the club. When Trinity kicks the guy at the end of the fight scene, the guy has his arms by his side. In the following shot they are now outstretched.

Continuity: When we see Neo walk into the Oracle's kitchen, the Oracle asks the little girl to take them to Seraph, in one particular wide shot of the room by the door there are no flowers or vase, yet when the little girl walks past Neo, flowers and a vase have appeared by the doorway.

Continuity: In the scene where Neo is talking with the Oracle in her apartment, the Oracle sits down at the table, picks up a bracelet, and right before the shot changes, you can see that it is on her hand, almost to the thumb area. When we cut back to her a second later, the bracelet is back on the table, and she picks it up and puts it on again.

Continuity: When Neo wakes up in the station, he is sometimes right next to the edge of the platform and sometimes further from it.

Continuity: In the scene where Bane has the scalpel to Trinity's neck, the bloody mark below it keeps disappearing and reappearing. The scalpel changes positions too as well as the blade itself changes.

Continuity: As everyone is saying their goodbyes before entering the ships to go off to war, Neo's interface sockets on his spine keep appearing and disappearing during angle changes.

Continuity: After Neo has been blinded, his eyes and everything around them is burned and red. Right after the fight, when Trinity sees him blind for the first time, his eyes (or eyelids) are grey, and only the rest is red.

Revealing: When Neo and Smith are fighting at the end of the film - when Smith knocks Neo into the rafters of the room they are in, you can see Neo's face, and it's obviously Keanu Reeve's stunt double.

Continuity: In the scene where the "Smith infected" Bane has the scalpel to Trinity's neck, we first see Bane's head just right beside Trinity's lips (on the side). But in the next shot, Bane's head is way back near Trinity's neck still holding the scapel.

Continuity: When Trinity is meeting with the Frenchman, the olive in his martini changes. In the first close-up shot, he only has one green olive on the cocktail stick. From then on he has two, until he eats one.

Continuity: During the big rain fight scene between Neo and Smith, Neo punches Smith, who flies into the road making a large dent/scrape. In the next shot, when they are flying above the road, the damage is nowhere to be seen. No other damage is repaired throughout this fight.

Visible crew/equipment: When Smith and Neo are fighting in the building Smith is knocked to the floor. When he gets up you can see the stage light in his glasses.

Visible crew/equipment: In the Merovingian's club, when Morpheus knocks the girl back and shoots with her gun you can see the white lights/screens in his glasses.

Continuity: When Neo gets up in the final fighting scene with Smith after he says 'You're right Smith, you're always right,' his hair is pushed back from the rain and mud. In the next Neo shot, it's down over his forehead.

Continuity: In the final fight between Neo and Smith, when Smith throws Neo inside a building, he flies inside the building through the hole. When Smith is inside, his flight causes a lot of dust. In subsequent shots, the dust has settled in only a few seconds.

Continuity: In the final fight between Neo and Smith there is one shot of Smith's legs running towards Neo and one shot of Neo's legs running toward Smith. In those shots you can see that they are not running against each other.

Continuity: When the Logos plummets from the sky and crashes into the machine tower, Trinity is skewered with cables. In slo-mo you can see that at least two cables penetrate her upper chest, but when Neo is lying next to her a minute later the cables have impaled her below the ribcage and there are no chest wounds.

Factual error: The flight of the Hammer is a very bumpy one and more than once the ship is either upside down, on its side or straight up and down. The crew of the Hammer are completely unaffected by this and keep feeding ammunition to the guns. The Hammer's movements should be tossing them around since they aren't strapped to a chair like the pilots and the gunners are.

Continuity: When the "Hammer" is being chased by the sentinels we have one shot of its captain in which he says:"Lock that down". When he says this he has some type of earphones, but in the next shot he doesn't has them any more. Between both shots the ship doesn't make any move that could make those earphones fall nor time for the captain to remove them.

Visible crew/equipment: When Neo wakes up in the train station, Sati's dad tells her to, "Leave the poor man in peace." When she runs off, a piece of tape is visible at her feet, showing her where to stand. This is visible in many wide shots, but particularly in this shot.
