Continuity: In the first race, the Supra crashes down after jumping the bridge, and a side shot shows that the Supra's rear wheels have changed from the expensive chrome items to the standard Supra wheels.

Tej: All right. You each got a barrel to go around down at the end of the road here. Second wave gotta sit tight till your partner crosses this line right here. First team to go down and back twice wins the race... at which point, the losers WILL hand over them keys. Otherwise, you'll be eating breakfast through straws from now on.
Trivia
Regular players of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City should recognize the entire last 15 minutes of the film. The area where they change the cars, the place where they drive to get the money, the places they drive during the chase sequence, the bridges, lakes, islands, palm trees, buildings, the game is all mapped exactly on these areas seen in this film in Miami. 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003) - 57 mistakes
Directed by John Singleton, starring Cole Hauser, Eva Mendes, Ludacris , Paul Walker, Tyrese (add more)
Revealing: After the first race, when Tej walks over to Brian with a bunch of people, there is a girl in a orange and black top, and as she walks towards Brian, she is looking directly at the place where the camera is supposed to be and backs away, so the camera can pull in for the shot.
Continuity: When the Evolution smashes into the gate in the boatyard it should have made a really big dent in the front of the car or at least a scratch on the bodywork. Yet in the next scene when you see it come to a stop in front of the Ferrari, the car is in perfect condition with no dents or scratches.
Visible crew/equipment: Near the end, in a shot of Monica and the baddie (just before they get onto the boat) standing beside a large vehicle, the camera is quite close and then it tracks backwards. The reflection of the legs of the steadicam operator walking backwards as he moves the camera, is seen at the side of the car.
Continuity: In the car chase scene towards the end of the film, Brian is not wearing his seat belt in close-ups, yet in the outside-the-car shots, the driver has his seat belt on.
Continuity: In the very first racing scene, when they all go around the first turn and it shows them all struggling to hold their steering wheels through the turn, it shows an overview of the 4 cars. As you can see the pink Honda S2000, is in front, and to the left of the red Mazda RX-7. In the very next shot, the Honda S2000 is directly behind the RX-7.
Other: After the first street race the police come and when Brian gets back into the GTR he doesn't switch the engine on, even after turning it off moments before.
Continuity: When Brian and Rome find Verone's red car at the impound lot, just after they get out of their cars, the Mitsubishi sign on the Evo's front is missing. In the next shot, however, it's there again.
Continuity: When Brian and Roman are racing to the car impound to get the package for Carter, at the start of the freeway scene Brian says, "Lets see what this thing can do." When he steps on the gas the camera cuts to an outside view and there is a large HGV in front and a 4x4 pickup to the right, but in the following overhead shot the 4x4 pickup has vanished and is replaced with a SUV.
Continuity: Close to the beginning when Brian is fighting with Roman, the black cop in one shot just walks past them on the floor, in the following shot, he is a lot further away from them.
Revealing: When Brian and Rome are going to rescue Monica, they are talking the whole time as to what next to do. We see several edited-in backgrounds at every close-up, and in one of Rome's close-ups we see a road pointing straight at the car. In other close-ups of Rome from the same angle, we see a river. The road that can be seen in the one close-up is not possible.
Continuity: Brian wears sneakers with white laces during the race. In the close-ups of his feet on the brakes, those laces are actually laced up differently through the eyelets.
Continuity: At the opening scene people jump out of a 4x4, and the guy with the yellow half cap on reaches for the object on the 4x4's floor twice.
Continuity: At the end of the first race, Brian speeds over the finish line then stops in front of Tej, and when the camera cuts to a wider shot of Tej the crowd is a few feet away from Tej in all directions, but in the following closeup Tej is now surrounded with people.
Continuity: Throughout the opening race scene, you'll notice that Suki's car has neon lights around the rear license plate. However, in one shot, just after the second corner, there are no neons. One of the less detailed clone cars perhaps?
Continuity: When Brian is trying to get rid of that ESD-System (that thing which is shot by the cop to break down the electronics system of the car), the bad guy is holding him by his shirt in a much different way than he does in the close-ups.
Revealing: When Suki and the other black guy with the big afro are being booked for speeding when they took Brian's and Roman's cars, the police officer next to them should be writing on his notepad, but instead the words are already written and he is just moving the pen over these words.
Continuity: When Brian and Roman are speeding down the highway to get to the boatyard, the camera cuts to inside police headquarters (I think). On the computer screen are two GPS signals (Brian and Roman), and it says 6th and 7th Street, but when it cuts to a wider angle it says 4th, 5th and 6th Street, indicating the screen has moved up instead of down. (Zoom is required.)
Continuity: When Brian and Rome kick the windshield out of the Camaro, it falls on the hood of the car. The shot goes wide as they begin to reverse, and there is no windshield on the hood, and not even any glass shards on the hood or dashboard.
Deliberate "mistake": When Brian and Bilkins are at the demolition derby, Roman wins and gets out of his car. As he scans the crowd, he sees Brian. When we see Brian the logo on his shirt has a 3D effect to it that goes back and to the left. In all other shots of that logo, the effect goes back and to the right. This shot is reversed.
Continuity: When driving through the boat section of the impound, there is one shot of Rome where there is road and a river outside his car. Not boats.
Continuity: Just after Monica has gotten back to Verone's house after warning Brian, she is sunbathing. In one shot, she has her legs slightly up and in the next they are flat with the sunbed. Also, when Verone throws her sunglasses on her chest, in this shot, she still has her hands on top of her head. In the following shot, her right hand is down picking up the sunglasses.
Continuity: In the first race scene after the jump, the gold car crashes into the sign head on, yet the whole back of the car is demolished, not the front.
Continuity: During the drive and stare scene with Brian and Monica, watch Monica's bangs as the shot changes from inside the car to outside. When the camera is shooting from outside the car, Monica's bangs are blowing around from the wind, but from the camera shooting inside the car, her bangs are neatly in place.
Continuity: When Brian and Roman are driving into Tej's driveway at his garage after getting back from Verone's, if you look at the yellow 4x4 pickup, its front wheel is turned to the right, but in the following closeup shot it is now straight.
Continuity: When Brian and Roman are at the car impound, Brian is searching inside the Ferrari, and Roman says "Look in the side." Roman is holding onto the side of the car and looking away from Brian yet in the following shot he is now holding onto the top of the car and is looking directly at Brian.
Continuity: When Tej and Suki get stopped, they both get out of the cars, and Tej's door remains open in one shot and is closed in the following shot.
Continuity: In the middle of the film when Roman is about to race against Fabio, note his car is parked at an angle on the side of the road, yet when it gets in it and starts the car, he is suddenly on the road, we don't see him turn.
Continuity: When Brian Roman and two of Verone's guys are at the trailer park close to the end, on the road through the trailer park there is a speed bump, yet when Roman sets the Dodge off on its own, there is a view of the road again, and the speed bump has vanished.
Continuity: Just after Brian gets arrested at the beginning, they are telling Brian about Verone, in a close up shot of Brian he puts his hands down to the chair, yet in the overhead shot, he has his hands by his chin again, then back to the chair.
Continuity: Just after Tej has called Brian, in one particular shot Suki is standing on the left side of her car, yet 2 seconds later, she's at the other side of the car gearing up her fellow ladies.
Continuity: When Brian is escaping from the police at the start, he drives past a building with a big face and an elephant on it. When the Skyline drives past the building, looking out from the driver's side window, the car is driving past the building again.
Revealing: When Brian is spinning his Evo around on the highway to pay Rome back, we can see at that one brief interior shot that there are no cars in the background. (Paul Walker did that spin for real on an empty freeway, but of course he did that with no cars around).
Continuity: At the beginning of the fight scene between Brian and Rome, they're much nearer to the derby than at the end of the fight.
Continuity: When Brian is driving the Skyline to the first race, and during the race, the car has rubber pedals. But after his Skyline gets shot with the ESD and he tries to slam on the brakes, the pedals are the aftermarket Momo pedals.
Continuity: After Brian does the stare-and-drive, you can hear his tires loudly screeching to a halt. But if you look closely, his wheels are still moving when they're "supposedly" skidding out. The same thing happens 2 seconds later with Rome's car.
Continuity: In Verone's background check of Rome, it shows a list of items he had purchased. It is mostly made up of renting Blockbuster Videos and the items were purchased in different states back and forth.
Continuity: In the scene where Brian's Evolution hits the impound gate, if you look carefully, you can see the front bodykit and the hood bending, leaving an unsightly dent, which then vanishes for all other shots of the car.
Continuity: When Brian, Roman and Monica are at Verone's mansion, Roman is saying, "You were checking her out," Brian says, "Ok I was, now shut up," in this shot Brian looks away to his right, yet in the following shot, he is looking in Roman's direction.
Continuity: When Roman and Brian are fighting in the sand, the smudge on Roman's face disappears and reappears several times.
Continuity: At the club, Monica and Brian are sitting at a table and when Rome walks up and says "He's here man," Monica looks at him and puts her right hand/arm up to her hair/cheek, in the following shot however her hand/arm is down, then in the shot after it's back up again.
Continuity: Close to the end, when Brian and Roman are driving to meet Verone in Roman's car, Roman has his arm out the window, yet in the following shot its not out the window.
Continuity: When Luda is explaining the rules of the drag to Rome and the bloke in the Yenko, he has his hands on his knees, then in the following shot they're behind his back, then again in the next shot they're on his knees. All in quick succession.
Continuity: When they are about to race against Fonzie and Fabio the two muscle cars, the blue one and the orange one, are parked in a line. Moments later, when Roman moves forward and stops there is only the orange muscle car there.
Continuity: Almost at the end of the movie, where Brian and Rome get into the blue Dodge and smash the window to go and save Monica, the other bad guy that they just beat up should be lying right next to the car, but as they are driving away, he's nowhere to be seen.
Continuity: When Brian is called to get to the race at the beginning, as he's getting into his Skyline, the blue neon light at the bottom of the car turns on, but as he's leaving the garage, the light turns on again.
Other: When Verone is doing background checks on Brian and Roman, it shows Roman and has a random address at the bottom like Big Bank, 123 Easy Street. Also,it shows two different addresses on two different pages.
Revealing: At the end of the first race, when Brian and the other guy prepare to jump the bridge, it cuts to Brian who shifts gears and puts on the accelerator. Look closely at the "Revs" counter (next to the speedometer), it is showing almost 0 revs on a car that's moving at very high speed.
Continuity: When Brian Monica and Roman are driving to Verone's house, at the end of the " stare and drive thing ", when Roman pulls up on the overhead shot he puts his full arm outside the car, yet when it cuts to a face shot from inside Brian's car, he just has his elbow on the door.
Continuity: When Roman's in his black car at Barstow and starts to reverse, note the yellow car behind him. From a camera shot behind Brian and the cop, the yellow car is already there and lined up to smash into Roman, yet when it cuts to a different shot, the yellow car is lining up again.
Factual error: In the scene where Brian Rome and the other guys are racing to the impound lot, Brian whips his Evo around and starts driving backwards. He would be going pretty slow in reverse so the other guys should have past him do to the fact that they where doing over 100 mph beforehand according to the FBI's GPS.
Continuity: In the scene where Brian and Roman get back to the mansion after getting the package from the Ferrari and are sitting next to the pool with their new boss, watch as he lights his cigar. He lights it, and it cuts away from him for a split second. When it cuts back less than a second later, the cigar is burnt down about an inch, as if the cigar had been lit for a few minutes.
Continuity: After Brian's Skyline is shot with the electric thing, when he hits a parking meter it shatters into smithereens and there is no damage or dents on his car. In the next shot his hood is bent up and his car is totaled. This is because the original scene was of Brian hitting something much more solid, however, Paul Walker who was doing the stunt himself, lost control and hit the parking meter. They didn't bother to retake as it looked much cooler. (Slow motion is required. DVD Special Features.)
Continuity: When the Evo and the Eclipse enter the highway, after Brian and Rome loaded up their cars with the bags of money, Brian shifts into third gear and later fourth gear. The Evo has the aftermarket Momo pedals installed, but after the Evo gets shot with the ESD from the helicopter, and when Brian tries to hold down the gas with his foot, the pedals in the Evo are the stock ones.
Continuity: At the beginning after the race, Brian is being chased by a cop and is shot on the right side of his car with that electric disabler. During the next shot, right before he hits the parking meter, the claw is nowhere to be found. After he hits it, it is back and sparking with electricity.
Factual error: In the final fight scene, when Carter tries to pick up the shotgun to shoot again, the slide/chamber is closed. When they cut in the next shot with Monica holding the gun on Carter, the slide/chamber is open. You can't see the chamber but you can see that the slide is back further towards the stock of the weapon. The chamber has to be secured to fire.
Continuity: Right at the beginning when Tej is talking to Jimmy on the phone, there is an orange and white car in the background, but when he is walking out of the garage, the car is gone.
