Continuity: After Paulie is bought from the pawn shop by Ruby, they are out on the sidewalk talking and if you watch in the background, the same red Mustang turns the corner twice in a row.

Deliberate "mistake": In the scene where Paulie tells the Jenday conure that he likes her, she repeats him when he says "I really like you a lot", "Wow, I'm so glad you feel that way", and "Are you listening?", I'm pretty sure no one (in the movie) taught her to say that. Therefore, she shouldn't have been able to repeat that.
