Visible crew/equipment: During the scene where Neo is talking to Agent Smith in the park area where Neo was talking to the Oracle, there is a close-up on Agent Smith's face. In his sunglasses you can see a bright white screen to reflect the light onto the faces of the actors. This isn't visible in any non-reflected angles.

Trinity: You always told me to stay off the freeway.
Morpheus: Yes, that's true.
Trinity: You said it was suicide.
Morpheus: Then let us hope...that I was wrong.
Trivia
In the highway chase scene, the license plate on Trinity's car says DA203. If you look in Daniel 2:3, which says "he said to them, 'I have had a dream that troubles me and I want to know what it means.'" This is possibly making reference to Neo's dream, because he went to the oracle partly to figure out what his dream about Trinity meant. The biblical text is speaking about King Nebuchadnezzar's searching for the meaning of his dream. In Verse 3, the Nebuchadnezzar says, "I have dreamed a dream." In Verse 5, when asked to explain his dream, he says, "The thing is gone from me" (all this is from the classic King James Version). Near the end of the movie as the Nebuchadnezzar explodes as a result of the sentinels' bomb, Morpheus says "I have dreamed a dream, and now that dream has gone from me." See more...
The Matrix Reloaded (2003) - 141 mistakes
starring Jada Pinkett Smith, Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Laurence Fishburne, Hugo Weaving, Gloria Foster, Lambert Wilson, Monica Bellucci (add more)
Revealing: In the freeway chase scene when one of the agents jumps onto the hood of the first car then jumps off, the car flips, then a second later as the car is still flipping you can see the gas tank has been removed.
Continuity: During the freeway scenes, the katana Morpheus used as a foot hold to grab the keymaker keeps moving. It was at arm's length from the top when he inserted it; when Morpheus was standing on it, the sword was a whole body length below the top; when Morpheus took the sword out in his fight against the agent, it was back in its original position.
Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where Morpheus is sitting in the chair near the end of the movie giving his "War and fate" speech you can see the microphone and camera in his sunglasses. This is repeatedly seen during the whole scene.
Continuity: In the car chase scene, when Trinity is driving the cadillac, the Agent in the cop car slams into the driver's side of Trinity's car and the driver's side mirror is bent inwards. When Trinity drives the cadillac onto the exit ramp, the driver's side mirror is back in its normal position.
Continuity: During the car chase, the twins shoot out most of the windows in the car that Trinity and Morpheus are driving in. But every time they cut to a shot of them inside of the car, the windows are intact and there is no shattered glass to be seen.
Continuity: During the freeway chase scene the Cadillac gets slammed up against the wall and sparks start shooting from the side to show that the car is being scraped by the wall. However, in several quick shots after we see the car gets scraped against the wall, there are only bullet holes and no trace of scraping against the side of the car.
Continuity: In the highway chase scene there is a shot of the police cars before they get onto the highway and the cars are Chevrolet Caprices. When they are on the highway chasing Trinity's car, the police cars become brand new Chevrolet Impalas. But when the police cars start to ram her, they become Caprices again.
Continuity: Trinity's cut on her right arm disappears and reappears throughout the freeway scene.
Continuity: During the car chase, one of the Twins shoots at a car behind them to get it out of the way - the right side of the windscreen (as we look at it) is peppered with holes. From another angle, they disappear, only to reappear as it swerves away.
Revealing: When Agent Smith stands in the way of Neo, Morpheus and the keymaker, Smith's glasses reflect an empty corridor when 3 people are right in front of him.
Continuity: When Neo and the keeper are fighting on the middle bench, one by one the bowls get knocked off - the two on the far corners (left and right) reappear and disappear at least once. Likewise the pot on the right hand table with stick-like things in - that table's completely cleared at one point, but that pot reappears.
Factual error: In the scene where Neo is shot at by the French guy's henchmen, they shoot with DIFFERENT types of rifles, which obviously have different calibers. When NEO stops the bullets, they are ALL 9mm Parabellum rounds.
Continuity: Further to the comment about some of the Smith clones not having Hugo Weaving's face pasted onto them, just after Neo does his back flip into two agents whilst kicking the two either side of him, just after he turns back around towards the camera, there is a very obvious stuntman standing just behind him who looks absolutely nothing like Agent Smith.
Revealing: In the 100 Agent Smith fight, you can see (especially in the larger shots) that there are many Smiths that don't look like Smith at all. Also, for the ones that have Smiths face digitally painted on them, when they turn around you can see that the backs of their heads are all different.
Deliberate "mistake": When Morpheus is facing the twins' car, the road's not all that wide, and there are concrete barriers both sides of him. After he rolls to the side and slices their car, we see a side shot, quite far back from the road, and the barrier closest to the camera has disappeared (presumably so we get a better view). In a closer view, both barriers are back again.
Continuity: In the scene where Neo fights the Merovingian's henchmen he plunges a sword into one of them and pushes him off the balcony and jumps with him. The body falls near an already dead henchman. In the next shot when the others jump off the balcony the body with the sword is away from the first body.
Continuity: When the twin leaves the car that Trinity is driving, he is standing on the freeway by himself. You see a flat-bed truck, then a police car, then a red van pass him by. But when they show the shot ahead of him, the truck is still there, but the cop car and the red van are nowhere to be seen.
Continuity: In the car chase scene when the Twin enters the car with Morpheus, Trinity and the keymaker the camera view changes between aerial shots and shots from in the car. In the aerial shots the road behind them is completely empty. From the shots in the car you can see several cars behind them through the windows.
Continuity: In the scene of the freeway chase, where Trinity, Morpheus and the Keymaker are in one car on the right side of the freeway, there's a shot from the car of the Twins (two or three lanes to the left), Trinity's car passes a truck, when the car appears again ahead of the truck there is only the driver inside the car, no passengers.
Revealing: After Neo takes the pole for the fight with the Smiths, we have some "bullet-time" shots of Neo fighting with the pole. In those shots we can see that Neo and the pole are computer made. This becomes even more obvious because before using the pole Neo was crushed into a wall and got all dirty and the computer-made Neo is completely clean.
Continuity: As Morpheus walks away from the wrecked car, the position of his right hand, clenched with index finger pointing straight downwards, would indicate he is gripping his pistol. Yet in the next cut to a view from behind him his right hand is empty. The pacing of the sequence suggest he wouldn't have had time to holster it, yet we see him produce it from behind his back after he has sliced the twins' car.
Continuity: In the shot taken above the Twin's right arm just before the SUV smashes the trunk off the BMW we see that Trinity's Cadillac already made a left turn and is about 70 feet away. In the shot made from inside the SUV just after hitting the BMW, the Cadillac is still taking the turn and seems stuck on the sidewalk. The SUV is about to pass it to the left.
Visible crew/equipment: In the car chase when one of the cars flip forward toward you, (looking back down the freeway) for a split second there is a sideways view of the car and you can see a black box type shaped object with cables in the drivers area, but no driver - guess the flipping ram equip. This mistake can be seen on the UK DVD.
Continuity: In the Burly Brawl scene towards the begining there is a birds-eye shot of Neo fighting four Smiths in front of him while moving backwards. He continues moving backwards and is hit. Just before the shot changes he is standing on a drain but when the shot does change he is about 3 feet in front of it.
Continuity: When Trinity is on the freeway and sees the motorbike truck from the bridge there are several cars either side of the truck travelling at the same speed. When they jump over, the top down view shows no cars and also the following shot from under the bridge shows no cars.
Continuity: In the scene when Neo and the counsellor Hamann are holding a conversation at night before entering the engineering level, you can see Hamman's robe's neck changing from wrinkled to unwrinkled mainly on the back side between shots.
Continuity: In the scene where Trinity rides a motorcycle and is being chased by the police, we see the cop cars right behind her, almost nudging her back wheel. From behind her, she dodges a car, which crosses the road line and should stack right into the police car behind it, but escapes miraculously unscathed.
Continuity: In the scene where Neo meets the Oracle before the Burly Brawl, just after Neo looks at Seraph and says "so's he", from behind she is leaning her head on her hand, with her hand by her jaw. Then when we see her from the front (instant cut, no time she's not visible), her hand is against her temple when she says "keep going".
Revealing: One more of the Burly Brawl. After Neo is thrown over the park chair and this is broken, count five shots starting with the close up of Neo face, you will see in the end of the fifth one, how an agent loses his wig.
Factual error: This happens throughout the entire film. Whenever bullet hits are shown on objects like cars or walls, the hits always appear to have been made from a weapon fired directly at the object - no matter what angle the shooter is actually firing from. This is particularly noticeable in the highway scenes. Bullet hits make very different impact scars/holes depending on the object and the angle.
Continuity: When Neo finds himself lost outside the castle in the mountains, he calls Link with the cellphone. He then closes the phone panel and the cellphone disappears on the next shot.
Continuity: In the scene where Neo converses with the Oracle, there is the shot where Seraph reminds the Oracle that they should leave. Now you see that when the Oracle gets up, Seraph starts checking the area in front of the bench, looking away from Neo and the Oracle. But in the next shot with all three of them in frame, he is looking directly at Neo while the Oracle moves forward to pat Neo in the stomach.
Revealing: During the beginning of the freeway chase scene, a "Maximum Speed 65" sign can be seen along the freeway wall in the slow lane that is facing the opposite direction of traffic. Freeway traffic in that lane would only be able to see it in their rear-view mirrors.
Revealing: In the office building, when Trinity runs and jumps out the window, she seems to pull the Uzis out of nowhere. She is wearing a skintight leather jumpsuit, and previous shots show her not holding anything and with nothing attached to her.
Continuity: The wound and the sleeve of the jacket on Trinity's arm changes after she's cut by one of the twins. When she's cut, the wound and rip in the jacket are thin and diagonal. As Morpheus is calling Link, the wound is not really visible and the cut in the jacket is now larger and squarer, and has changed direction on her arm.
Continuity: During the freeway chase when the Agent lands on Trinity's car, the hood buckles and is bent quite a bit. However, when the camera shifts back to the car with the Agent on the hood, there is very little damage visible.
Continuity: After one of the agents rips the roof off the car on the expressway, there are some shots that show the interior of the vehicle still dark as if the roof were still intact.
Continuity: In the scene where Trinity, Morpheus, and the Keymaker are standing on the bridge, Morpheus says "Trinity, get him out of here." Trinity then grabs the Keymaker and they both jump off of the bridge onto a truck. Then, when the car the twins are riding is heading toward Morpheus, you can see that there are guard rails on both sides of the bridge, however, next when Morpheus cuts the tires on the car the twins are riding with his Katana, the camera cuts a side shot of the bridge, and one side of the guard rails on the bridge has mysteriously disappeared.
Continuity: DVD: In the 100 Smiths brawl, Neo dives backwards about four feet from the ground and a Smith dives at him from the ground to Neo's left. The following shot shows both of them at about twenty feet in the air and it looks like they are descending from the fourth floor of the building in the background.
Continuity: In the fight scene between Seraph and Neo, items on the tables are constantly being knocked off and reappearing. In the first long shot, where Seraph and Neo jump from the rightmost table to the one adjacent, a bottle is knocked off, and then reappears. Almost immediately after, during an overhead shot, Seraph knocks one of the flat ashtray-like containers off the table. He moves back, obscuring the place where it was. When he moves forward again, it's back on the table.
Visible crew/equipment: In the scene near the beginning of the film where Morpheus is discussing the machines tunelling down to Zion with the other captains, you can see the camera in the reflection of his sunglasses in multiple shots.
Continuity: In the scene where Link unplugs Morpheus from the Matrix there is a close-up of Link with Morpheus opening his eyes at the bottom of the screen. In the following two shot, Morpheus still has his eyes closed and opens them up moments after he had already has awakened.
Continuity: At the start of the freeway chase scene when the agent gets out of the police car, there is a far away shot, and if you look at the bridge behind there is a white van that changes positions on the bridge during shots.
Revealing: When Neo fights the Agents near the beginning, he knocks out the first by knocking him into the wall. He then knocks the second into the wall by spinning round on the third Agent's back. After the shot of the second Agent hitting the wall both Neo and the Agent go from standing completely still displaying a clear "Action" cue.
Continuity: During the freeway scene, the Twin shoots a black car directly in front of Trinity's car. He shoots on the hood and then a trail of holes are seen going up the windshield. The next shot is one from inside Trinity's car between Trinity and Morpheus, but no bullet holes are in the car ahead.
Audio problem: On the freeway when the Twin stops firing when the car goes behind a truck (shortly before he floats into the car), you can hear about 5 shots being fired by him after the muzzle flashes stop and the gun stops shaking.
Continuity: When the operator on the Vigilant is impaled, at first the bar seems to be coming out of his chest horizontally. When they show him again later as the ship explodes it seems to be pointing much higher up.
Other: In the scene where Trinity tries to deactivate alarms in the building she types "disable grid nodes 21-48". Then a warning appears on the screen of her laptop which says: 'Disabling nodes 21-48 will disconnect sector 11 (27 nodes)'. However, because of the fact that nodes 21 and 48 are both included in the range, the total number of nodes to be deactivated is 28 (not 27 as written on the screen).
Continuity: During the freeway chase, when the car is crushed by the agent, look closely and you'll see a white Monte Carlo land on top of a mini-van. About 30 seconds later you see the same thing, but up close.
Visible crew/equipment: After the agent crushes the Oldsmobile, look inside and you'll see air cannons and a roll cage.
Continuity: In the car chase during a few scenes, the number plates on the truck, Trinity's car and the police cars seem to have no registration numbers.
Continuity: When The Architect is talking to Neo, the tie tack he's wearing appears to have fallen out of the left collar (right side on the screen) in one shot. Seconds later, it's back in place.
Continuity: In the middle of the freeway chase scene when Morpheus is on the overpass, in one shot the twins SUV has already made it round the bend of the overpass. The following shot they are going around the bend again.
Continuity: DVD version. In the 100 Smiths scene, a woman enters the courtyard and drops a shopping bag. The first shot shows two tomatoes falling out, one hurtling toward the camera out of the shot and a small box falling out of the bag. In the next shot of the ground, you can see several tomatoes and the box is back in the bag.
Continuity: When Neo is fighting the three agents at the beginning of the film, the ground is really dirty but when he flies off, there's only some papers and the ground is dirty again after that.
Continuity: When the Keymaker opens the door inside the white corridor near the end, you see in the reflection on the doorknob and it shows the corridor, but it does not have any doors in the reflection and there is a white door behind the Keymaker, which you cannot see otherwise when you look in that direction.
Continuity: In the scene where Trinity is driving on the freeway, you can see from the interior shot that her door is locked. In the exterior shot you can see her door is unlocked. This is consistent all the way through the driving sequence.
Revealing: After Neo has knocked out the first two agents after the meeting scene, he kicks the last one into the pole of a streetlight. When the agent falls to the ground, he moves his arms from a position where he could brace his fall to one where he could protect his face from the shattered glass that comes directly after when the glass from the streetlight falls and breaks in front of him.
Revealing: During the fight against the Frenchman's men, at one point a giant stone statue is broken, falls over and smashes apart. You see it hits a stone railing on the stairway, which wobbles and makes it very clear that the statue is a breakaway, unlike the rest of the set.
Continuity: When Trinity is driving down the freeway, the bullet holes in the right side of the car are not there on several occasions when the car comes into view from behind other vehicles.
Continuity: Near the end of the film when we see the Keymaker open the door and Neo kicks Smith to make a gap, if you look where Neo is, there are two Agent Smith's behind him, they are looking towards Neo's direction and pulling there guns out, yet when the shot changes to a close up, the two Agents are facing one another and then pull there guns again.
Continuity: In the scene just before the big 100 Agent Smith's fight, we see Neo and the Oracle talking on a bench. In one shot we see that the Oracle has her arm on the bench's back, then in the following shot we see her put her arm down by her side or on her lap, then in the following shot after this its back on the back of the bench.
Revealing: In the highway chase scene, Trinity, Morpheus, and the Keymaker pull off onto an exit and the twins follow. If you look closely at the exit and the overpass, you can see that it ends after it goes over the highway. The exit/overpass goes nowhere. You can see this during the various shots when Morpheus faces off against the twins and later when Trinity looks back at the overpass from on top of the Ducati carrier.
Continuity: On the freeway, the rear lights on Trinity's bike are sometimes on and sometimes off. And, no, they're not brake lights because they're on at the start when she is accelerating away from the lorry that is transporting the bikes.
Continuity: At the beginning, Agent Smith approaches the metal door. On the wall to one side is the writing "Muz 25", on the other side a wire ends in a light switch. After the fight, Neo kneels in preparation for flight and the light switch has vanished.
Visible crew/equipment: In the freeway chase, an agent jumps on the bonnet of the car which we then see flip. In the side view when the doors fly open we can see the strengthening frame, gas canisters, etc, inside the car which create the effect.
Factual error: During the freeway chase scene, the albino twin appears in the back seat of Trinity's car next to the Keymaker. Morpheus points his gun at the twin and the twin whacks it out of his hand. The gun lands on the car's automatic transmission stick, and you can see the stick is locked in position "2", not in position "D" as would be normal for driving in any other condition than up or down a very steep slope at greatly reduced speed. There is no way Trinity could've run at the speed she appears to achieve on the freeway with her transmission locked into 2nd gear.
Continuity: On the long straight shot of the two trucks driving at each other there is a clear starting/ending position for the busy traffic, followed by empty road.
Continuity: In the car chase scene, when the black car flips, a bullet spark can be seen on Trinity's car. The only thing wrong about this is that the bullet sparks on the windscreen and leaves it undamaged (seen in slow-mo).
Continuity: In the freeway chase scene, when the agent jumps on the intermediate car, it flips over. During the second slow-mo shot of it tumbling end over end, a bent piece of the bumper can be seen to leap UP from the ground, become un-bent, and attach itself back onto the car. This process is also visible for several other small pieces of debris on the road. It is NOT simply broken glass bouncing upwards - the bent bumper reassembles as it leaps up, and small metal shards suddenly go from motionless to flying towards the car. Broken glass moves as it would be expected to: away. It seems that the glass may have been edited in later.
Other: In the freeway scene, when an agent takes over the black truck, he turns around to go the other way. As he does this, there is a shot from the side of the truck as he turns. In this shot you can see that the front of the truck will easily crash into the wall, but cuts away before it does.
Visible crew/equipment: After the BIG crash during the freeway scene, if you look closely from Trinity's Ducati you can see the paramedics, cameramen, and and equipment.
Continuity: When Trinity and the Keymaker jump off the truck on the motorbike there is a white car seen just in front of them. In the next shot from behind them driving, the white car has gone.
Continuity: When Morpheus rolls out of the way of the Twins' car you can see his smoking, bullet-ridden car in the background. The door's wide open when he rolls, and a split second later when he slashes their car, the door's almost shut. No-one's anywhere near it.
Continuity: In the rotating shot around the semi-truck, in the freeway scene, the sword that Morpheus stuck in the side earlier (and uses later that scene, so it can't have fallen out) is nowhere to be seen.
Continuity: In the freeway chase scene just before the two trucks collide, Morpheus and the Keymaker are at the front of the white truck (you can tell because otherwise you wouldn't be able to see that much of them in the final front shot), but when they're catapulted forward they're right at the back.
Continuity: Near the beginning of the freeway chase scene, we see the twins take aim at a gold Chevy SUV. First of all, the first head on view we see of the SUV it has it's Daytime Running Lights on, the next time we see this view they are off. Secondly, one twin shoots out the passenger window and completely shatters it, however after the scene cuts briefly back to the twin it returns to the SUV just as it begins to flip and we see the window shatter yet again.
Continuity: Near the beginning of the film in the big cave in Zion, we see Neo walk up to Trinity. As they kiss, Trinity's right hand is on Neo's neck. The following shot she has her left hand on Neo's neck.
Continuity: Before the freeway chase and a little bit after they leave the garage, the twins shoot and crash the BMW, then Trinity's car turns right and drives off. In the next shot, the CTS is parked in the corner.
Continuity: In the highway scene when Trinity steals the bike from the truck, you can see that the bike's tires are completely clean while the bike is in the air and in the next shot just before the bike touches ground the tires are now all dirty.
Revealing: On the freeway scene, there are many cars and trucks that were computer generated to fill in the road, but the shadows are just under the vehicles, not angled away like on the real ones.
Visible crew/equipment: After Trinity and the Keymaker have jumped onto the lorry, Morpheus walks forward with his sword. In the shot of his upper body you can see the crew in his glasses.
Continuity: During the highway chase scene, when Trinity and the keymaker jump on the motorcycle truck, the bikes change between shots. Viewed from the side, from the front to the rear, there's a red, a black, and then three red bikes. When Trinity calls Link for a driving program, there's now a red, two blacks and two red bikes.
Continuity: In the Burly Brawl, when Neo is getting the pole out of the ground, there is a sign behind him on the wall next to the barred windows, but when Neo jumps and spins with the pole, in the background you see that the sign has vanished.
Continuity: When Trinity and the Keymaker are on top of the motorbike truck there is a dark lorry which is seen to be behind the truck in the inside lane. Then in the close-up of the Keymaker when he holds the key up the truck is a lot closer to them.
Revealing: On the freeway chase, when the agent jumps on the bonnet of the car and it flips over, check the underneath. There is no exhaust pipe and a reinforcing frame runs either side of where it should be.
Continuity: When Neo is fighting the Agent Smiths, he kicks one into a multi-paned window. It is visible in several shots but the hole disappears several times.
Continuity: In the freeway chase, just after the brown 4x4 flips over, one of the twins is shooting at Trinity's car. In a shot from the front his head's well above the sights, and he's spraying bullets around a bit. From behind him, he's holding it tight into his shoulder and keeping his fire in one place.
Continuity: During the highway chase, just before one of the twins ghosts into Trinity's car, during the shot with the flipping car, the traffic behind Trinity's car is missing.
Continuity: During the Burly Brawl (Neo VS 100 Agent Smith clones), there is a point where dozens more 'clones' burst through the doors of two buildings. In one shot you can see that the number of clones simply ends, and no more are coming after a point (very briefly at the end of one of the first shots), but in the overhead shot shot, there are suddenly more and more Smiths pouring out at a constant rate. There is not even a pause in the Smiths coming out, so it makes no sense.
Continuity: When Morpheus faces the Twins' car with his katana, there is a shot from the side (the same shot where the side of the bridge disappears) where a part of the highway below is visible. It's completely empty while only seconds before you can see the highway full of cars.
Revealing: Just as Neo begins fighting in the "Burly Brawl," take a look at the Smith to the right of him (he puts his hand on Neo's shoulder I think). The face is not Hugo Weaving's but the face of the stunt person. Looks like the effects crew forgot to put Weaving's face on that guy.
Continuity: Right before the highway chase scene, when the Key maker says, "Always another way", if you look at his head, he has a full head of hair. When Trinity and the Keymaker jump off the bridge onto the motorcycle truck, you can see the Keymaker has a bald spot and a little less hair.
Continuity: In the scene where Trinity is typing the 'disable grid nodes 21 - 48' command, she is pressing random keys rather than the correct sequence. The text already on the screen in the beginning of the next shot is 'disable grid,' but the 'G' key is one of those that have not been pressed, whereas 'H', for obscure reasons, has been.
Deliberate "mistake": In the scene where Trinity jumps out the building with machine guns and an agent right behind her, we see that while they are exchanging bullets, her hair is slick back and wet. But once she is shot and falling down freely, her hair is dry and flying freely.
Continuity: When Neo is fighting the three agents, the glass of the streetlamp falls. When he flies off, the glass on the ground disappears. In the next shot, it reappears when the Agent Smiths are walking on it.
Visible crew/equipment: In the freeway chase, there's a black Oldsmobile Alero that flips just beside Trinity's Caddy. If you play it slowly (not essential, but helps), you can briefly see the rust coloured ramp used to flip the Alero.
Continuity: When Neo goes to see the Oracle he first encounters Seraph. In the middle of their fight scene in one shot you can see that Seraph isn't wearing his sunglasses despite in all other shots wearing them. (Easier to view in slow motion)
Visible crew/equipment: In the highway sequence, when Trinity hard-brakes the bike and stops to make a burnout U-turn, we can see the cam attached to the right side of the bike. In the same scene we can see that the headlights are off but Ducatis designated for the U.S. market don't have a switch to turn off the lights; once the ignition is switched on the lights are automatically on as well.
Continuity: In the burly brawl, Neo gets tossed into a brick wall and gets dirt and concrete dust on his back. When he lands on the ground his back is suddenly clean.
Continuity: Right before the car chase when the car exits the garage the parking lights are on. Then it makes a right turn and one of the parking lights is out (The one on the passenger side). The next time you see the front of the car both lights are on.
Continuity: In the scene when Neo is talking to the Oracle on the bench, the Oracle is sucking on a sweet large enough to cause a bulge in her cheek. Whilst they are having the conversation, the camera obviously changes to whoever is talking. Neo gives a short response and then the Oracle replies straight away - no sweet.
Revealing: In the scene where Neo is fighting the 100 Smiths, there's a shot of Neo baseball-smacking a Smith into a set of windows. While the scene is a bit blurry, it's pretty apparent that the Smith literally falls apart when he hits the window, like he was made of sausage links.
Continuity: When Morpheus, Neo and Trinity arrive at the Merovingian's, the door keeper says "Follow me". The reflection in Morpheus' glasses shows the man still standing there, but in the next shot he has already started walking away.
Continuity: Right at the beginning of the fight between Morpheus and the Agent on top of the semi-truck, the Agent sends Morpheus sliding to the side of the trailor. In the first shot, Morpheus' left leg is over the edge, but in the next shot, his whole body is on the trailor and he has to turn to get close to the side.
Revealing: In the freeway chase scene, the black car that gets shot at by one of the twins and flips over the k rail and over the Cadillac has skid plates under the nose, so as to slide and flip the k rails easier.
Other: In a scene during a power cut, car headlights also go out.
Continuity: In the corridor of many doors where Neo fights all the Smiths the two furthest Smiths draw their guns twice.
Continuity: Right before the Twin enters Trinity's car, he shoots a black car in front of them and then continues firing on Trinity and Morpheus. However, when the car is seen flipping in slow-motion, you can see bullets hit on the hood of Trinity's car up to the windshield and then instantaneously go to the roof.
Audio problem: When Neo, Morpheus, and Trinity are meeting the Merovingian, he starts talking about French wine and the language. When the shot changes to behind the Merovingian, he is seen talking, but his mouth never comes close to the words we hear.
Revealing: During the freeway chase there is a shot over the shoulder of one of the twins as he shoots at our hero's car. He rakes his stream of bullets from left to right following the car as it passes behind a white truck - notice, however, that there are already bullet holes in the truck before the stream of bullets ever reaches it.
Continuity: The tire on the front wheel of Trinity's Ducati 996 changes from slick to treaded a couple of times between shots.
Continuity: Near the middle of the film when Neo, Trinity and Morpheus are talking with the Merovingian, you see that the Merovingian is holding a glass on the table with his right hand, the glass is barely half full/half empty, yet in the following shot the glass has filled itself up a bit.
Continuity: At the beginning of the big chase scene we see Trinity, Morpheus and the Keymaker in a car going down a street. If you look out the front in one of the shots, they are nearly at the end of the street. A few seconds later they are approaching the end of the street again.
Continuity: At the beginning of the film when we see the motorbike come off from the top of the parking lot, in the overhead shot we see Trinity jump off and land after the two lamp-posts. In the following shot when she lands, she lands before the lamp-posts.
Revealing: When the Keymaker closes the door with the Smiths firing at him, if you play it slowly you can see that no bullets actually hit him, as they would have caused bullet holes and blood stains, but his shirt stays perfectly fine right up to when he shuts the door.
Continuity: When the Merovingian's henchmen are shooting at Neo, a shot is shown from the side to show everyone firing their weapons. The man on the far left (the closest) makes the arm movements to indicate that his weapon is firing continuously, but his gun is only seen firing once.
Continuity: In the fight scene in the mansion, when Neo stabs the guy's hand with a sai, his hand is in the top part of it, but when the shot cuts his hand's now a) in the bottom half, and b) free of the sai anyway - he's just gripping the sword which is in the bottom half, with nothing trapping him.
Continuity: In the freeway scene, Morpheus fights an agent. Right before Morpheus gets knock off onto Niobe's car, you see Morpheus land and lose his balance on the left side of the back of the truck, but when there is a shot of Morpheus falling off the truck, he is falling off the centre.
Continuity: In the car chase scene, just before they go onto the freeway, the twins fire a machine gun at them and make quite prominent dents on the top of the car. However, in the scenes that follow, the bullet holes are not there. This is most obvious when you see the car from the top and the black car next to it crashes into a barrier. They come back when an agent lands on the top of the car and rips it off.
Revealing: After the twins shoot the black Oldsmobile, it hits a barrier and does a spiral, and lands on its roof. That's impossible because the car's fender would have been torn off. It would have skidded a sharp right and went under the semi that Trinity was driving by. That indicates that there was a ramp to lift the car off the ground and do the spiral.
Revealing: When we see the car careen into the side rail of the freeway and flip over, we can see there are skid plates welded to the underside of the engine compartment and under the front suspension.
Continuity: The door which is held open by one of the Twins gets splattered with blood on the inside when Trinity shoots at his arm. However, when Neo later runs towards the door before bashing it in, the splatter is gone.
Continuity: At the start of the Burly Brawl when we see Smith throw Neo through a bench, when Smith goes up to jump on him, from this point of view, the two or three steps behind the bench are nowhere to be seen, yet when Smith lands on the ground, the steps are probably less than a foot away from the bench.
Revealing: During the highway chase scene, when one of the twin is trying to kill Morpheus, one of the agents jumps on a car. There's nobody in the driver's seat.
Deliberate "mistake": In the scene where Neo is sitting with the oracle and talking, there is one quick shot of the fence area where Smith comes in. In spraypaint on the metal fence it has "ONE" written across it diagonally up to the right. When the oracle leaves and Agent Smith comes through the fence entrance the spraypainted "ONE" has disappeared.
Continuity: At the very beginning of the film when the 3 agents burst through the door where the captains are holding the meeting, if you notice the 3 agents enter the room and stop just after the broken door, and when the agent closest to Neo says, "only human," the other two agents are now a lot further in the room, there is no time to move forward as it is between shots this happens.
Continuity: When we see Neo stop all the bullets that the Merovingian's henchmen have just fired at him, Neo proceeds to let them drop on the floor where they are clearly visible. Yet just seconds later when all the Merovingian's men come running at him the bullets have all disappeared.
Continuity: In the scene where Neo meets the Oracle, when Neo and Sarif are in the corridor with all the back doors, the small piece of wall around the door is white. However, when Sarif opens the door so that he and the Oracle can go through it, the borders of the door opposite to the open one are green.
Continuity: When Neo Trinity and Morpheus go to visit the Merovingian in his restaurant, as the camera pans up the distance between the Merovingian and his girlfriend changes between shots.
Continuity: When the Tahoe is getting hit and crashed it loses its passenger mirror. When the Tahoe is hit by the other drivers the mirror is back on.
Continuity: When the 2 cops are being morphed into at the beginning of the highway scene, the driver is looking to his right while being morphed, but in the immediate shot, he is looking to his left, there isn't enough time in between shots for him to look the other way.
Audio problem: After the Keymaker has been shot, Morpheus and Neo rush to him and turn him over. The Keymaker's gasping for air is very audible, but the first reflection of him that we see in Morpheus's sunglasses shows that his mouth is tightly closed. This is only visible in that one reflection shot.
Continuity: In the scene right before the freeway scene, in the city streets, the Escalade EXT rams a brown BMW 7-series in the purwuit of the Silver CTS. The BMW rips in half, but there's not a scratch on the EXT. Later in the freeway scene, you see a headlight blown out, and a katana sword can rip it, whereas a car smash causes no damage.
Continuity: In the freeway chase scene when the Cadillac is being side-smashed by the police cruiser, the agent driving the cruiser disappears from the car when the vehicle hits the water barriers. It can't just be that he changed to a different body - that would have left the original occupant still in the car.
Continuity: During the freeway scene, if you look closely, you will notice that some of the trucks have no axles. Most obvious is the second one the camera goes under when following Trinity on the bike.
Visible crew/equipment: You can see camera equipment in the reflection of the sunglasses on the agent that takes over the tractor-trailer truck.
Continuity: When Trinity is driving through the tunnel leading up to the highway, the action goes into slow motion and Morpheus shoots out the Albino Twins' Escalade SUV driver side mirror to pieces. In the scene where one of the Albino Twins morphs back inside the Escalade SUV on the highway, in which they say "We are getting aggravated", "Yes we are", you see the full driver side mirror intact. It is gone again in the next scenes showing the driver side mirror.
Revealing: When Smith is talking to Neo in the park after seeing the oracle, the direction of the sunlight over Smith doesn't match the shadows in the park.
Visible crew/equipment: In the freeway chase scene, when the Keymaker and Trinity are on the bike flying off the truck, you can see under the Bugatti logo some sort of scaffolding and a crew member standing there as to film the "slow motion" shot. The reflection is clear, the bike isn't moving at all, nor reflecting the highway.
