In the scene where Ben gets the lever action rifle from the corpse, he cocks the lever expelling a used round and supposedly loading one more in the chamber. However when he runs down after hearing the screams he cocks the rifle again and no round is released. Meaning the gun is empty but in later scenes it fires without anyone reloading it. [No one can be sure who might have handled that rifle during the scenes in between, so maybe someone re-loaded it during that time.]
Night of the Living Dead (1990) - 4 corrections
Comments made in brackets are corrections from other visitors. As such, any aggressive/abusive corrections (and I get quite a few) written as if they're comments I've made myself will be ignored. To submit your own corrections for mistakes, just click the edit icon under an entry, then choose "correct entry". Some entries have "duplicated entry" after them - these are entries which were already listed on the main page, but were submitted again. I occasionally leave these online for a while, just in case they were moved in error, so don't worry about pointing them out to me.

I don't see how Ben turned into a zombie. When the guys got to the house, they had to cut open the door meaning that zombie's didn't get through it and Ben was never bitten. [This is a remake of the 1968 version. In that version, people turned into zombies the moment they died. It was only in later zombie films that they brought in the whole infection story. So in being true to the original version, it is understandable that Ben turned into a zombie when he died, despite the fact that he hadn't been bitten.]
After the truck explosion in which Tom and Judy were killed, Helen fights her husband forcing her into the basement, loudly exclaiming that she wants to wait for Ben to get back. However, if Ben hadn't fallen off the truck, he would have been there when it exploded. There was no way for Helen to know that Ben hadn't been killed. [This is denial on her part - quite reasonable.]
Towards the end of the film (after the zombies raid the house) Ben sits alone in the basement. When he turns on the radio, the date is given; late August, 1989. However, just look at the clothing in this film, everyone is wearing suits, long clothes. Tom is even wearing a jacket. In fact, when Ben goes out to kill the zombie he hit with his truck, his breath is visible, indicating it is quite cold outside. [In the scene where Cooper finds the TV and plugs it in, the newscaster mentions that the month is October.]
