Entry Beanies kid, Max, is wearing the same soccer jersey every day.
Entry The man that shows up at the door to ask about the orgy, is the director of the movie: Todd Phillips.
Entry It is rumored that this was thought of by director Todd Philips as a comedic version of "Fight Club" (1999) and there are a few obvious references to it in the movie. Some include the basement wrestling match, the photocopying of club propaganda at work, the men appearing worn at work, the restaurant scene, and the behavior of the men during the initiation phase.
Entry The cafe used in this, when Mitch is speaking with the girl he likes, has been used in "Se7en" (1995), "Training Day" (2001), "Fight Club" (1999), and "Ghost World" (2000) It is believed the cafe is called the Quality Cafe. Even further, the seat the actors are in in each movie is usually the same.
Entry Will Ferrell and Sean William Scott were both in "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" (2001). In that movie, Jay finds a tranquilizer gun and says that he and Justice will shoot each other with it because that the tranquilizer messes one up. Rather like what happened to Ferrell's character Frank Ricard in "Old School."
Entry This movie had the same director (Todd Philips) as "Road Trip" (2000). Seann W. Scott (Petters), who co-stars in Road Trip, also plays the pony trainer in this movie. Breckin Meyer, the star of Road Trip, makes a cameo appearance in one of the deleted scenes.
Entry The band Whitesnake gets a lot of mentions in this movie. Not only do the group play its song "Here I go Again," but Mitch mentions the Whitesnake jacket that his love interest wore during high school.
