Mistake Factual error: Alexander's copy of Homer is a codex, or bound book, not invented for another 400 years or much used for 600 years.

Mistake Continuity: When Alexander pushes his wife onto the bed, she rips the Egyptian scarab ring off his finger and throws it across the room. And in the following shot, both of them still on the bed, is a close-up of her gently touching the same scarab ring - which is still on his finger.

Mistake Continuity: After the battle Phillip is celebrating on top of a rock. He is shouting, "Phillip the barbarian!" A dead soldier in yellow is laying face-up with his head toward the camera. In another shot, as Alexander approaches Phillip you can see the dead soldier has moved over to the left and his head is pointing to the viewer's left near another dead soldier. In the final shot as Alexander and Phillip leave the rock, you can see the soldier in his original location.
