Still before the hijacking, Pinball is talking to his left neighbor, sitting in the same row. In one shot, from the left, they both sit next to each other, in the same row. At the end of the movie, the plane is crashing into the front of a casino. This building is actually The Sands hotel. The scene was done a few weeks/months before the hotel was demolished, this way the damages to the hotels entrance as the plane was launched into it didn't matter.
The original plan for the ending of the movie was to crash the plane into the White House.
