During Rosh Hashannah eve, the Jewish New Year, the Headmaster Mr. Bartram walks in on David praying in the chapel. At that moment, David is praying 'Avinu Malkeinu' (definition Our Father, Our King). It is a special supplication recited one month (Jewish, not secular) before Rosh Hashannah and it ends on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement.
The "Skip's Diner" scene was shot at the Blue Moon Diner in Gardner, Massachusetts.
