In the scene where Renfield arrives in the Transylvanian village, the archway which the carriage passes under is the same as in the film 'Young Frankenstein' which was also made by Mel Brooks. The only difference is the ivy covering the archway and the staircase.
In one scene, Van Helsing asks Dr. Seward if he has the book "Nosferatu." The film Nosferatu was the first adaptation of the Dracula novel.
In the scene where Renfield arrives at Dracula's castle, it appears that the castle is identical to the castle in 'Young Frankenstein' which is also made by Mel Brooks.
