Mistake Continuity: When Rabbit and his mom's boyfriend were kicking each other's ass inside the Smith's trailer, Rabbit pushes or punches the boyfriend from the kitchen to the living room, breaking a small wooden post in a quick shot. A few shots later, when Rabbit returns to the trailer, the wooden post is intact. There was no time to fix it.

Mistake Continuity: DJ Iz mentions how Detroit never tears down any of its abandoned buildings and just builds casinos. No casinos were built in Detroit until 1997-98, and the film is supposed to be set in 1995.

Mistake Factual error: It doesn't take 2 guys pushing buttons to make the press operate. OSHA establishes that a light beam be placed so that if anyone/thing tries to enter an unshielded area on a press it breaks the light beam and the press stops immediately, like an automatic E-stop. The press would never operate while someone is in the die pulling the part out so there would be no need for dual controls.
