Mistake Visible crew/equipment: In Tevye's "dream", you can see the wires used to make Fruma Sarah's ghost fly. (Seen on TV broadcast.)

Mistake Continuity: When Tevye goes into town before the Sabbath to make his deliveries, a bunch of men and women run up to him complaining about how late he is. Yet as soon as he starts filling the orders and talking there are only men around him. Where did the women go?

Mistake Continuity: During the "Matchmaker" song, a pile of hay is visible behind the girls at one point, and it is in the shadows. A few shots later, Tzeitel and Hodel sing "Be glad you've got a man" and push Chava into the same pile of hay, which is now in the sunlight.

Mistake Continuity: Near the end of the 'Matchmaker' number, when Tzeitel flops down on the bed, she appears in a slightly different position when the next shot cuts to the girls looking out of the window.

Mistake Audio problem: At one point near the end of the movie, you can hear Tzeitel's baby crying. Watch closely, and you'll see that the baby's mouth is not moving. It's even closed at times.
