When the flying saucers are leaving the mother ship, there is the sound of wind whistling as the flying saucers hurtle through the air. But there is no air in space, and hence no sound. [This movie was made in 1959, and space as a vacuum not allowing sound was speculation. Seeing as how no one had yet travelled in space from Earth, the movie makers had no way of actually knowing if there would be sound. Even movies made in the '70's and 80's like Star Wars and Battlestar Galactica had sound in space. Not a mistake if the science could not confirm at the time a lack of sound.]

Add actor/director information
Genres: Action, Adventure, Fantasy, Horror, Sci-fi, Thriller
Comments made in brackets are corrections from other visitors. As such, any aggressive/abusive corrections (and I get quite a few) written as if they're comments I've made myself will be ignored. To submit your own corrections for mistakes, just click the edit icon under an entry, then choose "correct entry". Some entries have "duplicated entry" after them - these are entries which were already listed on the main page, but were submitted again. I occasionally leave these online for a while, just in case they were moved in error, so don't worry about pointing them out to me.

There is a long scene where we are explained to in painstakingly minute detail that the Army has built a huge computer to decrypt the aliens' language into English, and that it is impossible to understand the aliens without this computer. But later on, there is much dialogue between aliens and humans inside the saucer. [Just before the guys enter the ship, Eros tells Tanya to turn on the "Dictorobetary" so they can communicate with them.]
