Continuity: When the kid rescues Bud from his former owner, Buds paws become all muddy when the faucet breaks. In the next scene they are running down the road and Bud's paws are clean.

Air Bud: Golden Receiver (1998) - 13 mistakes
Continuity: During the basketball game at the end of the movie watch the time on the scoreboard. One view of the score board shows 30 secs and the next view of the kid dribbling down court with the scoreboard in the background shows like 10 mins left.
Revealing: Before Josh tells his mom about Buddy, Buddy starts to push the basketball with nose down the stairs. While he is doing this, you can see the treat put there just before the ball moves.
Continuity: In the scene where Coach Barker is throwing balls at Tom, the ball racks in the wideshot are empty. However, in the close-up shot of Coach Barker, one ball rack is full of balls.
Continuity: When Buddy's owner is chasing Josh and Buddy in his truck, there is a scene that shows the truck approaching the water which is a couple of hundred feet away. As the camera cuts back to the driver, he does way too many things before the truck goes in the water (slams on brakes, steering wheels falls off). When about 10 seconds has lapsed, the exact same camera angle is shown of the truck being a couple of hundred feet from the water. The truck would have already been in the water by then.
Continuity: At the beginning of the movie, we saw the box with the dog falling down to the road. It falls at the left side of the road. When the truck passes, the box is on the right side of the road.
Continuity: When Buddy pushes the ball to the top of the stairs, the blue side is facing up. But in the next shot the red side is facing up.
Continuity: Throughout the whole movie the weather changes. They would show it being sunny when the kid is running to the fence then when they switch camera angles and he's on the other side of the fence it is cloudy.
Continuity: In the scene where Josh is making a doghouse for Buddy out of a cardboard box, he puts a smiley face on it. In the close-up, he draws two long lines for eyes, and a thin smooth curve for a smile. A second later, the eyes are dots and the smile is drawn in a heavy, messy line that's thicker on the left side than the right.
Other: In the part where Josh is sweeping the basketball court behind the church you notice that there are faded white paw prints. Then later when Josh is painting it Buddy walks directly on the white prints. Were these there to show Buddy where to walk?
Deliberate "mistake": When Buddy's dog box falls out of the back of the truck the dog box is empty.
Factual error: When Buddy's owner chases Buddy and Josh, you can clearly see his car is in park.
Continuity: At the beginning of the film, we saw the box with the dog falling down in the street. The road is dry. When the truck comes the road is wet.
