Trivia
Mel Blanc did the voice of Dino. This is only significant if you consider the fact that he'd been dead for over ten years. They used tapes of his original sounds from the 1960s TV show. See more...
Continuity: Bam Bam is not behind the child fosterer when she comes out, but appears behind her between shots.
Revealing: When Fred is pushing on the broken lever in the quarry he flies forwards. When he hits the ground you can see the outline of the edge of a crash mat being made through the sandy ground, behind his head.
Revealing: When Wilma pulls the suitcase forward during the party scene, her fingers squeeze it, making deep indentations in it.
Continuity: The position of the fur scarf around Pearl in the party scene changes between each shot.
Continuity: When Wilma kisses Fred after hearing about his good deed towards the Rubble's, lipstick smears all over Fred's lip. In the next shot it's gone.
Revealing: At the very end of the movie, look very closely behind the left side of the Flintstone's house. You can very clearly see a telephone pole.
Continuity: When Fred is eating with Wilma and Betty in the Cavern on the Green, the bottle in the bucket alternates from being straight or upside down. It even disappears in some shots.
Continuity: After Fred and Wilma have the fight with Barney and Betty, Wilma starts destroying things in the house. Notice when she is throwing the cups on to the floor. They are orange on the shelf, yet when she throws them on the floor, they turn green.
Continuity: In the scene when there is a meeting in Slate & Co., the model of the modern quarry is facing towards the chairman's chair. But in the next scene, when Fred is alone there and Sharon Stone enters the room, the model of the modern quarry is turned around, facing the other side.
Continuity: Wilma tears her white necklace from her neck, saying she doesn't need it, but it's reappeared intact around her neck as she leaves.
Continuity: When Barney sees the CNN update about Fred firing the workers, he goes over to their table. Between shots the menu jumps from being in Fred's hands, to laying down on the table.
Revealing: Near the end, when Fred uses the rock to bowl over the bad guy, you can all-too-easily see his fingers make big indentations into the surface when he picks it up. Either Fred has the strongest hands in the world, or the rock is made out of something similar to paper mache.
Plot hole: Barney and Fred's test slabs are not chiseled, as Barney takes them up.
Continuity: When Barney and Fred are going to be hanged by the neck, the rope of Barney alternates from loose to tight.
Continuity: When Bam Bam is brought out, his club appears/disappears randomly through shots.
