Kung Pow: Enter the Fist (2002) - 62 mistakes

Revealing: When Chosen One meets Ling and she shows her bra for a second, her shirt doesn't even open the way she opened it.

Deliberate "mistake": When Chosen One is dancing in front of Betty, take a look at Betty's face. There is a moment in which the face of the double playing Betty is visible.

Revealing: When Chosen One is training and Wimp Lo comes up to him and says: "Knock, Knock. Who's there?" You can see that he is transparent because the scenery is visible through him, this is easily seen in his black hair. It is also apparent when he says, "Take a close look 'coz I rule baby". But by the next shot he isn't transparent anymore.

Continuity: When Master Tang is in bed, you see a reverse view of Wimp Lo and a guy behind him. When Wimp Lo says, "I'll do it", and Master Tang says, "In your dreams", the guy who was behind Wimp Lo is now beside him.

Visible crew/equipment: After the scene with Whoa, Chosen One has a flashback about the necklace she was wearing. Look at the blue part of his mother's necklace, you can see a camera reflected.

Continuity: When Chosen one meets Mu Shu, his face gets very bright with light, but when you see a really wide shot of Mu Shu, it's all dark and not bright at all.

Continuity: Before Chosen One gets captured by the tiny net, you see him running out of a field. But the closer shot of him, there is no field behind him.

Continuity: When Betty gets the letter from the evil council, there's nothing but a wall behind him in the first shot, but the next shot, there's a window behind him.

Continuity: When Betty keeps getting hit with sticks, you can see that Master Tang is wearing the same clothes and same hat, and standing spot as the chosen one, but next shot where Master Tang was, it's the Chosen One.

Continuity: When Moon Yu, the cow, had all the milk drained from him and he fell on his back, there is no bush behind him. But in the next shot there is one. Plus, watch his tail as Chosen walks away. As it sways from side to side it disappears.

Visible crew/equipment: In the opening credits sequence, where Chosen One is driving a car and Master Tang as the narrator says "And sometimes he drove," you can see the faint reflection of the camera car filming. It's best to see on the tail of the car and just below the silver bar you can see the wheels of the camera car.

Continuity: When you first see Betty swinging the chain near the waterfall, in the first shot of him the water is quite rough, but in later shots it is really smooth.

Revealing: When the Chosen One is fighting Betty in the river, Betty turns around and hits the Chosen One with his claw, sending him flying. In his flight, you can see the Chosen One's face is not a white man, but an oriental man. They have forgotten to paste Steve Oedekerk's face over the original character from the original film.

Revealing: When Chosen One and Ling are talking and Chosen One says/shouts, "I implore you to reconsider", look at his head as the camera zooms in. After the zoom stops, you can see that Chosen One's head "grows" for about a half-second, the result of a flub-up of the special effects. (His face is pasted onto another actor's body.).

Continuity: The face on The Chosen One's tongue disappears and reappears throughout the movie.

Continuity: When Chosen One has that flashback about the necklace that Whoa and his mom were wearing we see Betty open the door and there was no one behind him. At the start though there were two people behind him.

Continuity: Before the Chosen One smacks a hole in a guy in the beginning he appears from a hole. If you look fast, you will see that he has green stuff on his back, but a few shots later, its dissappeared.

Continuity: When Chosen One is training to defeat Betty by practicing on wooden dummies, there's three shots of him hammering. In the first two the wooden Betty had lots of hair and a mouth, but in the third one, it has a little bit less hair and no mouth.

Other: When Betty is beating up the Chosen One and Ling's father, once he gets the claws back in his hands, shouldn't they be bloody? Or at least wet?

Deliberate "mistake": At the beginning, when The Chosen One is a baby and is rolling down the hillside, he loses a booty. In the next scene, he is wearing it again. He has them for the rest of the movie.

Continuity: When Betty receives the letter from the evil council, look at his jacket. It has long sleeves, but when he stomps the letter to the table, the sleeves disappear.

Continuity: When The Chosen One is fighting with the cow and grabs its udder to hit it with his finger, he is first shown hitting the upper part of the udder, but when the camera switches angles, he's hitting the lower part of the udder.

Revealing: When Chosen One is fighting the gang during the credits, there is one shot where he is midair and he is swinging around. You can see the rope around his waist but the wires have been digitally taken out. Guess they forgot the rope though.

Other: When Chosen One gets the gopher chuks, he reaches in with one hand and pulls out with two hands.

Continuity: In the training scene when Chosen One feeds his tongue a small piece of food, the piece changes between shots and is larger in the second shot.

Continuity: When Chosen acts like a bull and charges the cow, you can see cows in the background. However when Chosen One was walking towards the cow at the start of the scene, there were no other cows around.

Continuity: When the Chosen One is meeting with Master Tang, in the first shot you see that Master Tang is sitting down. However when Chosen One says "and that day, I vowed to find the man who killed my family", you see Master Tang walks past the Chosen One.

Continuity: When Chosen One is practicing to defeat Betty by putting silver things on dummies, in the close shot of him hammering it in, the dummy looks pretty rough and scratched, but next shot, it's smoother.

Deliberate "mistake": Right after Betty tells the joke about the owl and the bungee cord, it shows everyone laughing and Betty is standing, but when he says "Enough." he stands up again.

Continuity: When Chosen One hits a hole in the guys chest, you see it in the back with green stuff on top of it, although the guy that he hits it on only had black and white on.

Continuity: When everybody is beating Chosen One with the sticks and piles up on him, look closely at the two shots; the people change positions.

Revealing: During the scene where Betty is at the table with the Chosen One, when the camera is behind the Chosen One, you can see a mustache on him sticking out on the side. The Chosen One does not have a mustache. This also happens when Betty is performing his skill. This is where Steve Oedekerk is replacing Master Tang instead of the Chinese guy he usually does.

Continuity: When Chosen One hits Betty and sends him flying out of the temple, there is a guard seen outside the temple. But then he dissapears and is never shown again.

Revealing: When Chosen One is fighting the masked attacker (who later turns put to be Betty) he claws out their eyes and starts screaming and then his vein in his neck bursts. When this happens though you can see a patch that is bigger than the skin on his neck and it wrinkles it out, revealing to be the blood patch.

Continuity: Various times in the movie when it shows the Crane school from a distance, the bush in front constantly changes sides and positions on the screen.

Other: Between day and night shots when Chosen One meets Whoa, who lit the candles?

Continuity: When Chosen One is fighting the army at the beginning and pokes out their eyeballs, his hands are close to his neck, but in a wider shot his hands are farther away.

Continuity: When everyone is hitting Betty with the sticks, in one shot you his hands are down at his sides, but in the next shot his hands are up in the air.

Continuity: At the beginning when the narrator is telling Chosen One's story, when Chosen One pops out the hole the first time, you see the guy in front of him facing away. When Chosen One kicks him, he kicks him in the nose.

Continuity: When Master Tang is in bed and Wimp Lo says "I'll do it", you see a curtain behind his head. In a back shot of him, the curtain is in front.

Continuity: When Chosen One tries to find out if he can be hurt when people hit him with sticks the first person who hits him has his hat fall off to the side of him. In the rest of the shots, it showed it falling in front of him.

Continuity: In the training scene when Chosen One and Wimp Lo are talking, there is a building behind Wimp Lo. In another shot there is now a guy training there.

Continuity: When everyone is beating Chosen One with the sticks, one of the guys says that they should stop. As they continue again, you see a shot of the Chosen One's face, and is laying on grass. Before and after this, he was on dirt.

Continuity: When Master Tang is coughing in bed, and Ling is patting him,she is patting him with her left hand in the first shot, in the next shot she is using both hands.

Continuity: Before the chosen one smacks a hole in the guys chest at the start, just before the people charge him there are two shots of them. The people change positions between the shots.

Continuity: When the Chosen One turns on the Whoa Black Betty song and dances to it, he and Betty are walking in circles, but in the next shot of Betty he's completely still.

Continuity: When the cow sprays and hits the tree, the tree wasn't there before or after that part.

Continuity: When the guy has his whole leg cut off when they are talking about the tiny net, nobody is sitting right by him, but when it shows his leg, you see other legs right by him.

Continuity: When the Chosen One wakes up in the scene where he meets Whoa, his hat is in front of him and about two inches to the left of him. But the next shot of him stretching and waking up his hat is way farther away, so either he, or his hat moved.

Continuity: At the start of the movie when the people are training, Wimp Lo and Ling come out, the camera is right where those people were practicing and you can't see any of them, but you can still hear the noises of them practicing.

Continuity: When Chosen sees all his friends wounded in the field, he has a tattoo saying "mouth" with an arrow on his left cheek. The tattoo can't be seen after this scene. There was a deleted scene where Chosen One was captured and tortured, one of the tortures was to tattoo an arrow that said 'mouth' on it. In another one, the "one boob" woman uses magic to erase it. Still a mistake, but there's the reason.

Continuity: When everyone circles the Chosen One at the start of the movie, it is a small circle and in the next shot, the circle gets bigger.

Continuity: When Betty goes outside to show his skill, the Chosen One is holding a fish bone. However, he did not have it in the shot before.

Revealing: When the Chosen One fights Betty in the water he gets knocked down. When he gets up you can see that it's not Steve Odenkerk but the guy who was in the original kung-fu movie they added people and audio to.

Continuity: When Chosen One is going to fight Betty in the lake when he is swinging his chain, Chosen One is stopped by a man who turns out to be Ling's father. In Steve Oederkerk's closeups, the sky is a light blue with some clouds, but in the long shot with Chosen and Ling's dad, the sky is dark with few clouds.

Continuity: In the scene where Ling is putting mercury on The Chosen One's hand, she tells him to 'rub it in my hair', but look closely at The Chosen One's hand. Now the mercury, salt, and lime is gone, indicating they washed it off for the next shot.

Continuity: At the start when you hear the Chosen One's story, in some shots he has white clothes on, and in other shots he has brown clothes on.

Deliberate "mistake": When Betty is about to fight Master Tang he is holding the chain, but when the music starts he doesn't have it.

Revealing: At the end of the movie when The Chosen One is fighting Betty he gets punched in the face and hits the ground on his back. Look when he hits the ground you can see a whole section of the ground wiggle. It is definitely a cusion to break his fall.

Continuity: When Betty is fighting Chosen One as a baby, she tries to stab Chosen One. Chosen One then grabs Betty's hand, and whilst he is kicking Betty, you don't see his hand holding Betty anymore.

Continuity: Sometimes the back of the Chosen One is shown, and you can tell it's the guy from the last movie.

Continuity: When Betty is having people beat up in town in the first distance shot, you see that both Betty and the mayor are facing forward. The following shot of them the mayor is now facing Betty.
