Revealing: The ‘bear trap’ clearly has no spikes in it, so how could it have wounded Nathan. This is ever so clear when Tori prises the bear trap open to get his leg out, and it snaps back.

Trivia
When Jennifer Aniston answers the phone and the Leprechaun's hand comes out, it's an homage to the scene from A Nightmare on Elm Street, when the main character was talking on the phone and it suddenly turned into Freddy's mouth and tounge. See more...
Continuity: During a fight scene with the Leprechaun you can see a very noticeable difference in height between Warwick Davis (Leprechaun), and his stunt double.
Continuity: After Nathan pours the gasoline and throws the match in the well, we see a canister and shotgun sitting by well. But when the well explodes, they’ve disappeared.
Continuity: Officer Tripet gets tired of running and he slumps down against a tree. His places his left arm up on the trunk and it slides down so that now his hand is down atop his knee. The shot changes to his front and now the hand and arm are back up on the tree trunk above his shoulder.
Revealing: After the Leprechaun kills Mrs. O’Grady, she is leaned up against a table. After Mr. O’Grady shoots the Leprechaun, he walks over, past his dead wife, who clearly blinks.
Factual error: The narrator says, "The luck of the Irish is being packed and shipped to a little town in South Dakota." Problem is the movie is set in North Dakota.
Continuity: When O’Grady gets out the limousine, we see him drinking from a bottle of wine and his ring is on his pinkie finger. But in following shots as he’s on the porch, the ring has jumped onto his index finger.
Continuity: When O’Grady goes over to the box, he rips off the whole strip of cello tape from the top of it and throws it into the bush. In the next shot cello tape is still hanging from the cardboard box’s side.
Continuity: When O’Grady is nailing the lid to the crate on, to keep the Leprechaun locked up, the jar of nails, the nails scattered on the crate lid, and the hammer change position between shots.
Continuity: When the Leprechaun gets out of the crate, he walks toward Ozzy, who backs away. As he crawls backwards the towel on his shoulder falls off. In following shots it’s back on.
Continuity: As the guys are searching for the Leprechaun in the basement, Alex removes his red cap twice.
Revealing: Near the end of the film, when the people are in the house fighting the Leprechaun, one of the characters is using a shotgun. The Leprechaun rides up and down a hallway on a skateboard and the character with the shotgun shoots at him, missing not only the Leprechaun, but everything else as well. Unless he was using a round full of confetti that I've never heard of, he should be shooting the wall and everything else in sight, yet nothing at all is hit.
Continuity: During the scene where the collectables man is studying the Leprechauns gold coin, the doll on top of the safe is sometimes laying flat on it’s back, sometimes sitting upright against the wall.
Continuity: When the guys walk into the kitchen to find it very messy, with rubbish all over the floor, the wall with the phone on it has nothing against it, but in the next shot, a red broom is leaning against the wall.
Continuity: When Alex gets out the van to go fix the distributor cap, how far wound up the window is differs from shot to shot.
Continuity: After Ozzie and Alex leave the gold coin to be examined, when the shop owner looks through the book the back clasp of his suspenders is unclasped, then is clasped when he's at the stairs, only to be unclasped after he moves the tricycle, then clasped yet again.
Continuity: At the start of the film, where the Leprechaun sits on the step and recites his line, the gold coins on the step next to him change position from shot to shot.
Continuity: O’Grady opens the cardboard box and pulls out the soft paper from inside, and throws it to the side, into the bush. In the next shot the paper is back on the table, behind the box.
Visible crew/equipment: When the Leprechaun is riding the cart with the pitchfork on it, as the pitchfork rams into the side of the van, on the left you can see the clear shadow of a camera on a crane and crew.
Visible crew/equipment: When the well explodes, in one wide long shot, you can see wires trailed along the grass, used for the stunt.
Visible crew/equipment: When the shop owner looks through the book for information about the gold coin, he hears the bike bell and when he walks toward the stairs, the crew's solid brown rug is visible on the blue floor - note its edges in front of the white bookcase. It is also seen when he walks back to the safe the second time. That rug is gone in all other shots. (This has nothing to do with the large patterned Asian-style area rug.)
Continuity: When O’Grady pulls the urn out of the cardboard box, he smashes the green urn on the table. Between shots the fragments of smashed ceramics change shape, size and position.
Continuity: When Ozzy and Alex are painting, before Ozzy goes inside to clean up, the whole wall is painted blue. Later on in the movie when Nathan runs outside, we see the same wall only half painted.
Visible crew/equipment: When the Leprechaun is rubbing Tori’s leg, you can see the reflection of a large white reflector and a crew-members head, reflected in the side of the truck.
Visible crew/equipment: When Tori goes to the well to give the Leprechaun his sack of gold, the Leprechaun levitates the sack of gold from Tori’s hand, and the wire making the bag ‘float’ is visible.
Audio problem: After giving the Leprechaun his sack of gold by the well, Tori runs back to the house and screams cries of terror, yet her mouth is clearly shut.
Continuity: During the scenes in the kitchen near the end, such as when Tori answers the phone to the Leprechaun, the magnets on fridge move, appear, disappear etc.
Continuity: When Nathan shoots the leprechaun after he entered out through the chimney, the leprechaun lies in different positions between shots.
Factual error: Although taking place in North Dakota, the Jeep and cop car have the older Illinois plates.
Factual error: The movie takes place in North Dakota, but there are no tarantulas in North Dakota.
Visible crew/equipment: Some equipment is reflected in the window of the cop car as it pulls out to chase the leprechaun. [It's a reflector screen.]
Audio problem: When Tori says “something was rubbing my leg” her mouth doesn’t move in the shot when she says “my leg.”
Continuity: After Ozzy tells the others about the Leprechaun, they all go inside to look. Alex hasn’t got his red cap on and he isn’t holding it either, yet as they enter the basement, he has it on..
Continuity: When Nathan is putting meatloaf on his plate for Tori, the amount of meatloaf on the plate suddenly increases between shots.
Audio problem: When Tori finds the Leprechaun in Mr. O'Grady's wheelchair, she runs out of the room. We hear her crying in horror but her lips do not move at all.
Revealing: Sometimes the Leprechauns stunt double is apparent.
Visible crew/equipment: When the Leprechaun is in the wheelchair chasing Tori, the wheels from the camera dolly are reflected in the side of the wheelchair.
Visible crew/equipment: The wires that cause the suitcase to wobble are visible, especially when Mrs. O'Grady gets close to it.
Continuity: When Ozzy spills the paint he is completely covered in it yet the floor below him is completely free of any paint.
Continuity: At the beginning of the movie when Danny grabs the gun to shoot the Leprechaun, he fires only two shots and has to reload but when he opens the gun chamber to reload, you can see that there are no used shells in the chamber.
Visible crew/equipment: The Leprechaun is on roller skates heading towards the white picket fence. As he gets close while the shot is over his shoulder, his shadow is cast on to the fence at the left edge of the screen. Problem is, a crew members shadow is right next to him for a split second right before the camera angle changes and he smashes into the fence.
Continuity: In the basement, after the white sheet falls on Tori, the top of her black shirt alternates from clean, to dirty with white plaster dust smeared on it.
Revealing: The clover patch is obviously just a green light being shone on the dirt.
Continuity: Early on, the leprechaun badly scratches Tory on the leg, yet later in the film there is no sign of damage.
Continuity: When the man opens the locker, the leprechaun jumps out and kills him by pogo-sticking him to death. He never pogo's on anything but the man's chest, yet the victim has big bloody welps all over his face.
Continuity: The paint marks on Nathan's right arm change shape.
Continuity: When Tori and Nathan are first in the diner, it is dark outside. When Alex and Ozzie join them in the next diner shot, it is still daylight outside.
Continuity: When O’Grady pulls the urn out of the cardboard box, the box is sitting on the table. In the next shot it is off, and sitting on the bush next to the table.
