Flashdance (1983) - 12 with pictures

Continuity: In the opening credits, as Alex rides her bike down the hill, the bike helmet strapped to the back of the bike disappears / reappears.

Continuity: When Alex is dancing to 'He's a Dream,' the chain for the water disposer appears above her chair between shots, then disappears / reappears during the scene.

Continuity: When Richie is making the burgers, in a closeup of them sizzling, only one burger has a cheese slice on it. In the next shot two have cheese slices on them.

Continuity: When Jeanie is telling Richie the order, she alternately holds the pad, or it is down on the table. The pencil in her hands disappears in one shot too.

Continuity: When Alex sits down to watch the news, the various items around the TV, magazines on the table, the cushions, cups, items on the couch etc. differ in position during the scene.

Continuity: In a wideshot of Alex's TV area, there is a pole next to the couch with the label 'Fire Extinguisher Here' on it. In the next shot as she sits down, it has vanished.

Continuity: When Alex walks over to the side with her basket of laundry, as she walks over you can see clothes hanging over the basket side. In the next shot there are no clothes hanging over the side.

Continuity: When Tina Tech dances to 'Manhunt' she is wearing tall spiked heel boots. Yet in the shot when she does a backflip off of the wall, she is wearing flat black shoes. In the next shot she has the heels on.

Continuity: When Alex and Richie are stopped by the two men in the car park, you can see the space in between Nick's car and the other car is empty. Moments later Alex goes over to this space, and now her bike is there.

Continuity: When Alex is dancing in the red dress, in front of the TV, her legs are bare. It cuts to the audience, then cuts back and suddenly blue leggings which stretch down to her knees have appeared.

Continuity: When Alex enters the committee room, there is nothing to the side of the female judge's desk. In thte next shot as Alex walks across the room, we see a speaker beside her desk.

Continuity: After the audition at the committee, Alex runs down the street, and Nick waits with a boquet of red roses. The street is covered in dead brown leaves. The amount of leaves on the street suddenly changes between shots.
