U Turn (1997) - 32 mistakes

Visible crew/equipment: After Bobby is pushed off the cliff by Grace, towards the end of the shot of him rolling on the rocks, a black pad is visible under his shirt and attached to his trousers which was used for the stunt.

Visible crew/equipment: In one shot of Bobby laying on his back, after being pushed off the cliff, his shirt is open at the bottom and a long black microphone wire running up his chest is visible.

Visible crew/equipment: In one shot of Grace having sex with Jake, underwear is visible on her hip.

Revealing: As Bobby drives along the dirt roads at the start of the film, in one shot when the camera is filming inside the car, you can clearly see the gear is in park position yet the car is "driving."

Continuity: Between shots Grace goes from walking backwards to forwards, when meeting Bobby for the second time.

Continuity: When Grace is sitting at the edge of the cliff, talking to Bobby, in the wideshots you can see that there is no gun next to Jake on the rocks. The gun then appears when Bobby looks over at Jake and notices it.

Visible crew/equipment: Metal clamp and wires attached to the vulture near the start of the movie.

Continuity: When Bobby strangles Grace to death, after strangling her, you can see Grace's arm by her side, yet in the following overhead wideshot both her arms are far out away from her side

Revealing: After Grace pushes Bobby off of the cliff, in some shot's the Sheriff's dead body breathes.

Continuity: When Bobby is having sex with Grace, in some shots his shirt is dry and in others it is wet with sweat.

Visible crew/equipment: In the opening credits after the car radiator bursts, in one shot the shadow of a high crane filming the overhead shot is very visible.

Continuity: When Bobby is in the diner, he is given his bottle of beer. In the two shots before the Sheriff drops the pot of coffee between the shots Bobby's bottle of beer moves it's location on the diner bar.

Visible crew/equipment: When the shopkeeper shoots the second robber, as he flies backwards you can see a long black wire coming from out his shirt.

Revealing: When Bobby pushes Jake's dead body down the cliff, it's blatantly obvious it is a dummy. You can easily tell by the way the limbs move and flex about.

Continuity: When Bobby is arguing with Darrell, there are four red round sponge marks on the right wing of Bobby's car. As we change to Darell's POV, just after the close up of the 'for sale' sign, followed by Darrell telling Booby to leave 'before I call the sheriff who knows me', there is only one red round mark.

Visible crew/equipment: When Jake says "your just like your mama, always scared of things," the shadow of a boom mike is clearly cast on the wall behind Grace.

Visible crew/equipment: Reflected in the phone as Bobby speaks to Grace.

Continuity: As Bobby falls from the cliff, his sunglasses fall off his face twice between shots.

Continuity: Grace's legs change position while she is lying dead at the bottom of the cliff.

Continuity: Jake's arm changes position while he is lying dead at the bottom of the cliff.

Continuity: When Bobby is offering to carry Grace's packages, the old man has vanished from the road behind them.

Visible crew/equipment: Crew are reflected in Bobby's and Grace's shades throughout the movie.

Visible crew/equipment: When Bobby is telling Grace he can't move and that she will have to come down, in a closeup of her eyes 2 or more people are reflected in them.

Visible crew/equipment: Crew reflected clearly in Grace's eyes, along with camera, in an extreme closeup after she shoots Bobby.

Continuity: After Bobby is pushed off of the cliff by Grace, as he rolls in a closeup he has a big blood stain on his shirt, by the shoulder. In the following wideshot the stain isn't there, and his shirt is remarkably white.

Revealing: In one overhead shot where Jake is apparently giving anal to Grace, the straps of his flesh-coloured thong are visible.

Visible crew/equipment: When Bobby returns to find his car totally taken apart at the front, when he says "how much?", you can see the head of a crew-member reflected in the windsheild.

Continuity: As Darrell is threatening to scratch Bobby's mustang with his crobar, the small round sponge sitting on the bonnet keeps moving location.

Continuity: When Bobby is contemplating pushing Grace off the cliff, he looks over the edge and a body of water is visible. In all the other aerial shots, there is no water at the bottom of the cliff.

Continuity: When the Sheriff pulls up there is a shot from inside his car showing that the rear window is wound down nearly all the way. As he drives away, the rear window is fully up.

Revealing: After the radiator hose breaks for the last time, Bobby opens his mouth to laugh and it is obvious that the teeth that are supposed to be missing have just been blacked out because he touches them with his tongue.

Visible crew/equipment: Man with a cap on, reflected in the triangular window when Grace is in the car.
