Revealing: When driving along the freeway, there is a reflection in the windscreen of some clouds. For about three minutes, this reflection does not move. If you're traveling at over 80mph as shown, surely in three minutes the reflection would have changed.

Continuity: As the police car flips over on the highway, a roll cage appears inside the car just in time for the flip.

Continuity: When Macho Man is playing on the radio there is a dark coloured object just outside Natalie's window. This is not visible any other time.

Visible crew/equipment: When we first see the police barricading the border to Mexico, there is a SWAT van. When the camera goes past the van, the camera is reflected in the paint work.

Revealing: When the police car flips on the highway, we can see the film crew in the other car filming it. In this shot you can see the canister used to flip the car on the highway.

Continuity: When the news broadcast shows the police car flipping on the highway, it is different to how the actual car flipped.

Continuity: When the police car flips on the highway, there is a light bar on top of the car. As it lands on its wheels, there is no light bar or any sign that a light bar should be there.

Continuity: At the beginning of the film when they're in the car, Natalie drops the cigarette lighter on Jack's trousers. Shortly afterward, the whole car is full of smoke. After they turn around a sharp corner, the camera switches to an outside shot in which the smoke is gone. In the next shot, back in the car, the smoke reappears.

Continuity: Shortly after Jack takes Natalie hostage, during the early part of the chase through town, they keep showing brief close-ups of her face where she's not wearing a hat. This is before she loses her hat out the window of the car while getting carsick.

Factual error: When the red BMW hits the curb just before joining the freeway he does so at 70. Hitting the curb at 70 would cause a blowout.

Visible crew/equipment: in the highway chase scene where the green monster truck rolls on it's side and slides down the road, you can see the truck is rolling on dolly wheels attached to its side.

Revealing: When the BMW joins the freeway, the cop car follows. If you look, you can see planks for the cop car to go up the curb safely.

Continuity: When the female hostage talks to the kidnapper, the window of the car is open when the shot was taken from outside the car. However, the window is closed whenever it was filmed from the interior of the car. This can be seen throughout the whole movie.

Continuity: Throughout most of the film, the position of the following police car with the tv crew changes places instantly.

Continuity: After Jack shoots out the cop car tire, Natalie accuses Jack of being "the epitome of violence". Jack then grabs her arm at the wrist. The camera angle changes and he's holding her hand. Camera angle changes back and he's holding her wrist again.

Continuity: During one of the first scenes in which a camera crew is riding with the cops, the view is from the rear of the cruiser looking through the windshield, and they are approaching a stop sign. The scene then changes camera angles and the conversation that had been taking place continues uninterrupted, but the background is suddenly completely different.

Continuity: When the cops first pull up beside the BMW and Jack pulls a gun out to shoot the cop with the shotgun, he hits a bump and blows the cop car's tire, causing it to flip. They show it flip behind the BMW, but the other 2 cop cars (on the passenger side and behind the BMW) have disappeared.
