Continuity: There's a white cushion that Gen. Sternwood has for his back that is sticking out in some shots and then disappears later in the scene.

Continuity: Even though no one has gone near it, Lash Canino's steering wheel has been turned from the time he and Art Huck park next to the house to when he is shot by Marlowe. Not only is the shadow underneath different throughout the scene but the front wheels are turned all the way to the left after he's shot.

Continuity: In the DA's office Capt. Cronjager says to Marlowe, " So all you failed to do was report a murder that happened last night?". If you look closely at the far right of the screen there's a shadow on the wall of a female sculpture that wasn't there when we saw this spot at the beginning of the scene when Marlowe and Bernie Ohls walked in (1945 Version on DVD).

Continuity: As she speaks to Marlowe, Dorothy Malone Asks, "Is there something I can do for you?" and she reverses the pencil she's holding between shots. This happens again about a minute later.
