Revealing: When Amidala & Anakin are eating and he cuts her a piece of the fruit and "floats" it back to her, the bite appears in the fruit a split second before she actually eats it.

Obi-Wan Kenobi: Good job.

People are fixated on Owen and C-3P0 not recognising each other in Episode 4, when they've been around each other in this film. Easy. The droids' memories get wiped at some point (presumably when they're sent with Padme and Bail Organa in a few years' time), and Owen either: experiences a lot of droids, and a few of them may have similar/identical names, or doesn't recognise C-3PO because he looks very different between Episodes 2 and 4, or else recognises them when we first see him in episode 4, but figures they won't remember him due to their memories being wiped, and him getting worked up over a couple of random droids would alert Luke's suspicions. Or any number of other explanations that Mr. Lucas may have planned - lots work.
Plot hole: When Amidala and some of the clone troopers get blown out of the ship chasing Dooku, later the trooper approaches Amidala and asks about making their way back to the front lines, but Amidala says they should go to the hangar to help Obi-Wan and Ani. How did she know about the hangar, having left the ship quite some time before it arrived at the final destination?
Continuity: When Padme gets her back scratched she seems to bleed. Even though she is wearing all white, and the scratches seems to be deep, her white top remains squeaky clean during the rest of the movie and does not get dirty from her wound.
Audio problem: The aliens that populate the planet of Geonosis have an extremely peculiar method of speech - consisting of clicks and weird ringing sounds. However, despite the fact that they make up 99.9% of the crowd in the arena, the sound of the crowd cheering is human.
Deliberate "mistake": How is it that one slash on Amidala's back ripped off the entire midriff of her shirt, and a sleeve?
Audio problem: When Anakin and Padme are talking after their meal together. When the camera is facing Anakin at one point he says "Believe me I wish that I could just wish away these feelings I have for you!" and then stops talking. When the camera switches to face Padme, if you watch closely, Anakin's mouth is still moving even though he isn't saying anything.
Continuity: During the sequence where Obi-wan goes to meet Yoda regarding the abscence of Kamino from the Jedi Archives, look closely at the collection of children Yoda is training. While most are human, there is one that is alien, with a reptilian face of dark skin. He sure moves fast, because at first he is at the back in the centre of the group of trainees, in the next shot he is at the front of the group of trainees, and by the end of the scene, he is on the far left, yet we never see him, or any of the other children, move.
Continuity: In the arena scene, you will notice that Padme's hands are chained to the pillar and pulled up above her head. The chain is taut. However, subsequently the chain becomes sufficiently slack for Padme to bring the cuffs to her mouth and unpick it.
Continuity: Right after Zam's speeder crashes near the bar and Anakin is chasing her through a crowd it shows a shot of him running really fast through the crowd. Then it cuts to her and back to him. When it cuts back to Anakin it is the exact same shot as the previous one. (You can tell because he passes a bright yellow light and then he puts his left hand on someone's shoulder as he passes them. All this repeats on the second shot.)
Continuity: In the arena scene, Anakin's pillar already has a chain hanging from the top before he is led to it, however, when he is led to the pillar, the chain is no longer there, and a new one is hoisted to the top by the flying Geonosian guard.
Continuity: During the scene when Obi-Wan attempts to capture Jango Fett as he departs Kamino, Fett and his son Boba can be seen about to load crates onto his ship. As soon as Boba warns Jango about Obi-Wan's presence, Jango tells Boba to get in the ship, the scene switches view, the fight between Jango and Obi-Wan starts and where did the crates go?
Continuity: When Anakin and Padme are about to eat, Anakin uses the force to levitate her pear-like fruit to his plate. He then proceeds to cut it pretty much in half. However, the piece he sends over to her is much smaller than half - we even see the remainder of the pear on his plate which is substantially larger than it was in the shot before.
Continuity: When Anakin and Padme are standing outside the Lars' house, we see their shadows projected on to the side of the house (with Anakin's shadow looking worryingly like Darth Vader's). However, in the next shot their shadows have moved about 4 feet to the left, and the shadows on the ground also change size and intensity between shots several times.
Other: When Padme and Anakin enter the droid production centre, there is a shot of them going through a large door. Though they both crouch slightly, Anakin's head passes through the door.
Continuity: The twin-engine speeder which Anakin is using to pursue Zam is equiped with four antennas, two of them between the headrests. In the shot when Anakin is trying to catch the falling Obi-Wan, the two antennas in the middle are missing.
Continuity: When Palpatine is speaking to the Jedi very near the beginning, the ships in the suspended invisible freeways on the background are always going on the same pattern. Notice that there is an elongated ship with a large rear tip, and then two smaller ships always seem to catch it at the same time. This goes on for about 3 minutes.
Continuity: During the battle of Geonosis, Ki-Adi-Mundi has a blue lightsaber. After the clone army arrives, there is a shot of Obi-Wan and Mace, then Anakin, then Padme. During that shot of Padme, over her right shoulder, Ki-Adi can be seen with a green lightsaber. It then changes back to blue when he is on the transport ship deflecting laser shots.
Continuity: After getting off the airspeeder at Naboo Padme and Anakin walk down a long balcony. R2D2 behind them has a huge dent clearly visible on his dome. How the heck did that happen? Did he fall down the stairs at some point?
Revealing: During the scene at the dinner table with Anakin and Padme, Anakin makes a piece of fruit fly around. He then has it land on a plate and cuts it with a fork and knife. It happens fast but you don't really even need slow motion or pause to see that the fruit doesn't react to Anakin sticking his fork or knife in it at all. The knife and fork just vanish into the fruit.
Continuity: When Padme is packing to leave with Anakin for Naboo, she has a pink outfit in her hands, and she starts walking towards her suitcase. The shot changes and she is still walking, but the pink outfit has been replaced by a navy blue one.
Other: When Anakin and Padme's shuttle arrives at Naboo it flies over a lake and lands on the other side next to some trees. Even though the trees are visibly reflected in the lake, at no time is the shuttle ever reflected on the lake when it passes over it and lands by the trees. Bizarrely though, its shadow is always visible.
Continuity: When Ani purposely jumps out of the speeder to catch Zam, in the same shot he does this, Obi-wan switches to the driver seat and you can see he has blue jeans on. All other shots show him wearing tannish pants.
Continuity: In the fight scene in the arena, after the moving vehicle that Padme and Ani are on gets shot down, she gets into the carriage seat for cover. In the first shot, her hair is hanging down and wispy on the right side. In the next shot, it's nice and combed up.
Continuity: When Jango Fett releases Obi-Wan from his grappling hook you see a huge dent on his helmet. The dent changes between being there and not being there and in size.
Continuity: When Mace is fighting Jango in the arena, the bull charges, then again, when Jango shoots him he then turns around to face Mace. The continuity from right to left is switched, he should not have had to turn around.
Revealing: When Obi Wan uses the Force to take the little crystal sphere from the map reader, the map reader disappears before it retracts into the floor again.
Continuity: In the asteroid field, Jango Fett flies through a hole in an asteroid. Obi-Wan follows him and flies deep into the asteroid, but in the next shot, the opening in the asteroid is seen behind him, as if he just entered it.
Audio problem: When Dooku is trying to bring down the ceiling on top of Yoda in the hangar scene, Yoda stops three rocks in midair with the force and then directs them to his left. One of these rocks hits the wall, breaks in two and also leaves a mark in the wall. Strangely that rock doesn't make any sound at all.
Continuity: When Padmé is packing for her trip to Naboo, she says, "I do not like this idea of hiding." As the shot ends, she is right next to Anakin as she walks past him, and Anakin begins to turn around. In the next shot, she is much further away from him, and Anakin has already turned around.
Other: When Jango Fett is chasing Obi-Wan in the asteroid field, Jango fires his guns and when he turns his ship, the "beams" that had been already fired turn with it.
Continuity: When Padme is stuck in the barrel and the melted metal to pour on to her, R2-D2 comes to the rescue. The problem is, by the time R2-D2 comes to stop it, the melted metal should have already poured on to her. It only took a few seconds for the metal to fill the other barrels
Continuity: In the very first scene, when the decoy for Padme is killed by the explosion, Padme's hair is in "pigtails," one hanging in front of each shoulder. In the next shot showing Padme, her hair is gathered to one side and hanging over one shoulder.
Continuity: When Zam Wesell meets Jango Fett on the skyscraper ledge, the open hatch/window of her speeder changes appearance between the first two shots. In the last shot, it disappears completely. Even though not the whole speeder can be seen in this shot, a part of the hatch/window should be seen, because of its size and position.
Continuity: In the nightclub scene, in the shot before the huge screens showing sporting events are shown, you can see a woman walking past Obi-Wan to his left. But in the previous wide shot, she was nowhere to be seen in the area near him.
Continuity: When Anakin and Amidala are married, the leaves and branches above them changes between the second and the third shot.
Continuity: When Anakin, Obi-Wan and Padmé are surrounded by droidekas in the arena, they are near the broken pillar, but when Mace Windu jumps into the arena, they and the droidekas are nowhere to be seen in the area around that pillar.
Factual error: There is a scene midway through the film where Anakin and Padme are spending quality time together in a field, with a backdrop of huge waterfalls surrounding them. Those are awfully quiet waterfalls. Through this entire scene they speak at a normal volume, but if they were that close to that many high waterfalls, they would have to shout.
Continuity: In the beginning of the scene where Obi-Wan and Jango Fett are fighting, Boba Fett's position on the ramp of Jango's ship changes between the opening shot, the shot where he yells, "Dad. Look." and when he turns and runs into the ship.
Audio problem: In the beginning of Obi-Wan's fight with Jango Fett, Obi-Wan's lightsabre is off as he dives out of the way to avoid being shot. When he turns it on again, the sound effect is missing.
Revealing: In the scene where Anakin explains to Padmé that he must go home to find his mother, you can see in the bottom left corner that it is raining. They shot the scene on a rainy day, and then filtered out the rain on computers, but ILM forgot a few small spots.
Revealing: On Kamino, when Obi-Wan watches the clone troopers parading, one shot has been reversed: watch Obi-Wan's clothes.
Continuity: In the shot where Obi-Wan slides past Jango Fett after they went over the platform edge, Jango is lying on a black stripe on the surface. In the next shot of Jango, he is lying further away from the stripe, and his body is turned the other way. The distance between Jango and the stripe keeps changing until he begins to climb back towards the platform.
Continuity: After Taun We asks if she and Obi-Wan can see Jango Fett, Boba Fett begins turning right (your left). In the next shot, he turns the other way.
Revealing: On Kamino, just before Prime Minister Lama Su show the young clones to Obi-Wan, the image has been reversed: watch Obi-Wan's clothes.
Continuity: After Anakin and Obi-Wan enter the Outlander Club (the nightclub), they stop, and two people behind them begin to walk past them. In the next shot from a different angle, these two people are nowhere to be seen.
Continuity: When Anakin and Padmé embrace outside the moisture farm, there's a dark, round spot in the sand next to them, that wasn't there in the previous shot of Anakin. Anakin can't have been standing on it in the previous shot, because he is standing about one metre away from the position of the spot in both shots (watch his shadow, it is in the same position in both shots).
Revealing: In a couple of shots after Obi-Wan and Jango begin to slide down the platform, the waves in the ocean below them do not move at all.
Continuity: In the wideshot where the droidekas are rolling into the arena, Anakin, Obi-Wan and Padmé are all looking in the left direction and Padmé is looking over Anakin's left shoulder. In the close-up, Obi-Wan is looking the other way, Padmé is looking over Anakin's right shoulder and Anakin's hands have moved from his waist to being in front of his chest.
Continuity: In the close-up where Anakin and Padmé disembark the boat, a man is carrying two big suitcases. In the next wide-shot, the man is carrying one big suitcase and a small one. The small one had already been carried away in the previous shot, where it can be seen standing in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
Continuity: When Anakin's mother is dying, she's stroking her son's cheek, and after she says, "I'm so proud of you, Ani" her hand repeatedly changes position between shots.
Continuity: In the beginning of the scene in the Jedi Archives, the old woman (Jocasta Nu) is smiling in the close-up, but not in the wide shots.
Continuity: In the scene where Obi-Wan Kenobi is entering his space ship in order to make contact with Anakin he catches the tail of his costume between him and the left side of the cockpit. In the next shot of him he is perfectly settled and his costume is no longer caught.
Audio problem: When Amidala tells Anakin about her old boyfriend, she says, "I went in to public service.", but the last word doesn't match the movement of her lips.
Continuity: After Obi-Wan is wounded during the lightsabre duel, in the shot where he falls to the floor, he can be seen falling near the ramp of Count Dooku's starship. But in the following wideshot (and in the rest of the scene), he's lying much further away from the ramp, and his lightsabre is lying further away from him as well. Also, the place where he lies changes between quite a few shots, even shots that follow directly after one other. This can be seen from the pattern on the floor.
Audio problem: When Padmé falls from the ship, she screams, but her lips stay closed.
Continuity: When Padmé and the Jedi are surrounded by battle droids in the arena, certain people change position or are crouching/standing in a different position between shots.
Continuity: When Padme jumps off the pillar and swings around on the chain, she kicks the nexu, before swinging back to the other side of the pillar. In the next shot, she repeats this movement.
Continuity: When Padmé decides to rescue Obi-Wan, she presses a button on the computer console in the starship. As the shot ends, she is still touching the button, but in the next shot, her hand is lying on a different part of the console.
Continuity: In the tunnel at Geonosis, Anakin and Padmé stop. In the next shot, Anakin's right hand is out of shot and not moving. He then ignites his lighsabre, as if it were in his hand the whole time. But in the previous shots, his hands were empty.
Continuity: After Count Dooku cuts off Anakin's arm, the severed arm is nowhere to be seen on the floor, even though the area where it should have landed (including the area under the ramp of Dooku's starship) can be seen in several wide shots afterwards.
Continuity: When Obi-Wan and Count Dooku are duelling, the background behind them is inconsistent between shots. They are closer to the walls in the close-ups than in the wide shots, and sometimes the background itself changes between shots. For example, when Dooku says, "Master Kenobi, you disappoint me", there's a wall behind him, but in the previous shot, the opening of the hangar could be seen behind him.
Continuity: In the first close-up of Amidala in Palpatine's office, Jar Jar is standing right behind her. In the following shot from behind, Jar Jar has disappeared, and Bail Organa and Dormé are standing further away from her than in the previous shot. In the next shot, Dormé, who was standing on Amidala's left in the previous shots, has moved to her right. Then, in the shot from behind where Palpatine suggests that the Jedi protect Amidala, Mace Windu is standing next to her, and Bail is behind her. In the following shot facing Amidala, Mace can't be seen, but he was too close to her in the previous shot to be off camera. And Amidala is standing closer to Bail and the rest of the people with them.
Continuity: When Anakin is holding his dead mother in his arms in the Tusken camp, he holds her closer to his shoulder in the close-ups than in the wide shots.
Continuity: Before the lightsabre duel begins, Anakin says, "You're gonna pay for all the Jedi that you killed today, Dooku", and Obi-Wan's lightsabre is pointing downwards at the end of the shot. But in the next shot, it's pointing upwards. Anakin is holding his lightsabre closer to his leg as well.
Continuity: When Padmé and Anakin kiss at the lake retreat, they are standing right next to each other, even after Padmé interrupts the kiss. But in the next shot from behind, they are standing further away from each other than they were in the previous shot.
Continuity: In the first shot of the morning scene at the lake retreat (after Anakin's nightmare about his mother), on the extreme left of the screen, you can see the shadow of Padmé being cast on the open door to the balcony. In the next shot, her shadow is cast on the door again as she walks out the door.
Continuity: Anakin's handcuffs keep coming off and then they're back on again; just look at his wrists when he gets on the bull and the shots when he's riding him, they go on and off a few times
Visible crew/equipment: When Obiwan is on the water planet, and he first meets the bounty hunter, you can see the camera in a shiny black window frame.
Continuity: After Zam Wesell is hit by the toxic dart, her arm is around Obi-Wan's neck in the shot where she dies, but in not in the previous shot of Obi-Wan.
Audio problem: After Anakin and Padmé watch Obi-Wan's message for help, Padmé says, "I'm going to help Obi-Wan," but the movement of her lips indicates that she's going to "save Obi-Wan".
Continuity: After Obi-Wan sneaks into the corridor in the stalagmite-like tower on Geonosis, he stops and looks up. In the next shot of him, he is still standing and looking up, but the wall behind him is different from the previous shot.
Other: After Jango Fett is kicked over the platform edge, he digs his forearm claw into the surface while he slides down towards the ocean. But the claw leaves no marks. Do not confuse this with the wire that locks Jango and Obi-Wan together.
Continuity: In the arena, when Obi-Wan is trying to defend himself with a spear against the acklay, in the wide shot where it rears, he is holding the middle of the spear, but in the next shot, he is holding it higher up.
Continuity: In the beginning where Padme and Anakin are about to leave Coruscant, Padme says, "Take good care of Dorme." Shortly after, one of her workers has a tear of worry. This tear disappears behind her nose and in the next shot the tear path is dry.
Continuity: During the last shots of Obi-Wan and Anakin's conversation at the nightclub, the surroundings and the amount of people around them keeps changing.
Continuity: When Anakin and Obi-Wan are talking while Padmé is sleeping, as Anakin says, "It was her idea," his body is turned in a different direction from the previous shot. In the following shot, he is standing in the same position as the first shot, and Obi-Wan has turned in a different direction as well.
Continuity: When Obi-Wan begins to spin around as Zam Wessel tries to shoot him in the back, his drink is standing in front of a blue cup. But right before the next shot ends, it is standing on the right side of the cup.
Continuity: When Obi-Wan and Anakin enter the nightclub, in the first shot, Anakin is walking behind Obi-Wan, to Obi-Wan's left. In the next shot, Anakin is directly behind him. There body positions differ in consecutive shots as well.
Revealing: When Obi-Wan is cut by Dooku's lightsaber and falls, you see one of the wounds (the one on his arm) glowing and then suddenly seem to shrink and disappear, though not totally. This is because it is computer generated and didn't match up exactly with the actor portraying Obi-Wan. Hard to catch, but it is there.
Continuity: In the fight with Dooku and Yoda near the end, there is a far shot and Yoda is behind Dooku, but Dooku is still fighting in front of him. Also it still makes the sound of lightsabres clashing.
Continuity: After the Jedi have escaped the arena and Yoda tells what will happen if Dooku escapes, Mace Windu's under tunic is overlaying to his left, but in the arena, it was overlaying to his right. Later in the scene, it is back to the way it should be.
Continuity: During the meadow picnic, some of Amidala's hair is lying over her right shoulder, but in the long wide shot, it's not.
Continuity: In the close-up of Mace Windu after he beheads Jango Fett, his under tunic is reversed. It is overlaying to his left instead of his right.
Continuity: When Anakin and Padmé are talking at night at the lake retreat, the flames in the fireplace are inconsistent between shots.
Continuity: When Anakin and Padmé share their first kiss as husband and wife, in the first shot, they are standing in front of two trees and a bunch of roses. But in the rest of the wedding scene, there are no trees or roses behind the couple.
Other: When Dooku is being followed by the ship we see him look at his scanner to see who it is following then tell his guards to attack them. His scanner is showing an impossible view - Dooku can see the back of the ship following him. The only way for that to happen is if Dooku had a camera flying behind the transport. That's not reasonable or logical when a simple "rear-view" would give him the same info.
Continuity: When Jango Fett shoots the Jedi that jumped up onto the platform off you see he has only one Westar 34 Pistol. But when he flies into the stadium to kill Mace Windu he has both pistols and then only one again.
Continuity: When Mace Windu walks out on the arena balcony, Count Dooku says, "How pleasant of you to join us" and Mace is standing on the left side of the balcony "door". In the next shot, he is standing on the right side of the door.
Continuity: In the wedding scene, there's a close-up of C-3PO and R2-D2. If you watch the background behind them, you can see that it is the same background seen in the shots of Anakin and Padmé, only reversed. This can be seen from the tree, the flowerpots and the mountain.
Continuity: When Anakin and Dooku are battling in the dark Anakin's braid is on the wrong side.
Continuity: When Jango Fett and Obi-wan Kenobi are fighting on Kamino, Obi-wan's lightsaber gets blasted out of his hands and it lands near the edge of the platform, but when we see it again it's nowhere near the edge of the platform.
Continuity: After Obi-Wan and Anakin enter the nightclub, they stop, and as the shot ends, Anakin head is turned to his right, and Obi-Wan is turned slightly towards Anakin. In the next shot, Anakin's head is turned to his left, and Obi-Wan
and Anakin are both turned in the same direction.
Continuity: When Obi-Wan and Anakin begin to walk up the few steps just inside the nightclub, as the shot ends, Obi-Wan is just about to put his foot on the second step. In the next shot, he has suddenly reached the top of the stairs.
Continuity: In the wideshot where Obi-Wan is about to bring Zam Wessel outside the nightclub, the man by the bar (Anthony Daniels, who plays C-3PO) is standing with his back towards them. In the next shot, he is facing them and no longer standing by the bar. The two women he was talking to have moved as well.
Continuity: When Zam Wessel tries to shoot Obi-Wan in the back, there's a woman standing next to him on his left at the bar, but when he spins around and cuts off Zam's hand, the woman has suddenly disappeared.
Other: During the speeder chase, Obi-Wan's hair is waving wildly in the wind like it should. But not so during a shot when he tells Anakin "You know I don't like it when you do that." It is completely still, not moving at all, even though they are still driving at some 100 mph. In the shot after that, it's back to normal again.
Continuity: In the wideshot of Obi-Wan climbing out of his starfighter on Geonosis, R4's dome faces the front of the ship, and then rotates left. In the next shot, the droid is again facing the front of the ship and its dome turns left a second time.
Other: When Anakin is searching for his mother, in the shot where we see the binary sunset, neither Anakin nor the speeder he's riding has a shadow.
Audio problem: When Anakin is talking to Padmé by the fireplace, he says,"My heart is beating, hoping that that kiss will not become a scar", and stops talking, but his profile shows that his lips are still moving.
Continuity: During Shmi's funeral, the lights in C3PO's eyes are not on.
Continuity: In the arena, Anakin rides up to the pillar that Padmé is on top of, and when he tells her to jump, the pillar is on his right. When Padmé lands behind Anakin a few seconds later, the pillar is to their left.
Continuity: When Anakin and Padmé walk towards the moisture farm, in the first shot, their shadows are on their right. In the next shot, their shadows are cast behind them. In the following shot, the shadows are on their right again. The shadows on the ground differ as well, their size and intensity changes between shots several times.
Continuity: At the beginning of the scene where Anakin and Amidala are getting off the transport, they start to talk. The conversation goes on for a short time, and then the scene cuts to an angle where we can see the transport again. It is far to much away for the time they walked and talked.
Continuity: When Anakin is talking to Watto, the positions and existence of some of the objects surrounding Watto keeps changing between shots.
Continuity: After Obi-Wan is wounded during the duel with Count Dooku, his arms and feet changes position between shots twice.
Continuity: When Anakin and Padmé are talking to one another in the field, Anakin says, "Well, then they should be made to." In this shot, there's a ribbon in Padmé's hair that can't be seen during the rest of the conversation, even though it should be visible, because of its position.
Continuity: When Obi-Wan hands Anakin his lightsabre outside the nightclub, he holds it in front of Anakin's face, but when Anakin grabs it, Obi-Wan is holding it much lower than in the previous shot.
Other: After Padmé falls down onto the conveyor belt, Anakin jumps down after her, and right before he lands, there's a clear shot of the conveyor belt moving the same way Padmé went. Judging from the speed of the conveyor belt and the fact that she was only a few seconds ahead of Anakin, Padmé should be visible, but she's nowhere to be seen.
Continuity: When Anakin and Padme are going into the droid factory on Geonosis, watch the last Geonosion warrior Anakin kills before going through the door into the actual droid factory. Anakin's lightsaber goes straight through the shoulder of the warrior, but nothing happens. Then Anakin proceeds to kill it using a force push and then slicing it in half.
Continuity: In the beginning when Yoda walks to Padme and says "Seeing you alive brings..." look when he stands up from the chair and starts to walk. He walks and walks, but he never passes the chair. Next clip is showing him quite a bit behind the chair moving towards Padme.
Continuity: During Obi-Wan's tour at the clone facility, as Lama Su explains that they modify the genetic structure of the clones, he is walking in front of Obi-Wan. As the next shot begins, he is walking behind him. Then, when he mentions the unaltered clone, he and Obi-Wan are walking side by side, but in the next shot, he is once again in front of him.
Continuity: When Anakin says, "Jedi business. Go back to your drinks." at the nightclub, he is standing next to the bar, but in the previous shot, he was several metres away from it.
Continuity: During the battle in the arena, Anakin and Padme falls to the ground as the cart is knocked over. Padme lands right in front of the cart, but in the next shot, she is further away from it.
Other: When the star ships are about to pass through the clouds over Coruscant in the beginning of the film, the shadow of the large Naboo Cruiser can be seen far ahead of the ships, but the smaller star fighters have no shadow. And when the ships fly closer to the clouds, the shadow of the cruiser disappears as well.
Other: After R2-D2 begins to drag C-3PO's head across the arena, there's a shot of several Jedi fighting. A man wearing a dark brown tunic falls over dead, but if you watch closely, you can see that he was never actually hit by any laserbolt.
Continuity: When Dooku is about to kill Obi-Wan, Anakin blocks the blow. In the next shot showing Obi-Wan, their light sabres are interlocked in a different position from the previous shot.
Continuity: When Obi-Wan and Count Dooku are duelling, in the second shot after Padmé and the clone trooper run away, the positions of their lightsabres is different from the first shot. Dooku's lightsabre is on the other side of Obi-Wan's, and strikes it higher up.
Continuity: When Yoda and Mace listen to the Senate voting Palpatine emergency powers, Yoda starts on the top ledge nearest the Senate chamber. When the shot changes he has moved down onto a different ledge which wasn't there before.
Revealing: When Obi-Wan is talking to Jango and Boba in their "apartment", Obi-Wan pauses. He's not moving and you can see the back of his head. When Jango walks behind Obi-Wan on the screen, you can see Jango's "shadow" through Obi-Wan.
Continuity: When Obi-Wan and Jango Fett fly through a tunnel in an asteroid, Jango flies out of the asteroid twice. This happens to Obi-Wan as well.
Continuity: When Obi-Wan and Anakin enter the nightclub, in the first shot, there are people in front of and behind them. In the next shot, some of them have disappeared, some have changed position, and there are some people that were not there in the previous shot. Then during the last shots of their conversation, the surroundings and the amount of people around them changes a few times.
Continuity: When Obi-Wan is talking to Anakin before they enter the nightclub, in the shots facing Anakin, they're standing in the middle of the doorway. In the shots facing Obi-Wan, they're standing by a wall.
Continuity: When the acklay first attacks Obi-Wan in the arena, he is standing with his back against the pillar. In the next shot, the pillar is to his right.
Continuity: In the overhead shot where Obi-Wan grabs a Geonosian's spear, the Geonosian and the animal (orray) it's riding are directly in front of him. In the beginning of the next shot, the Geonosian and the orray are to his right.
Continuity: In the bar on Corascant, Obi-Wan cuts off Zam Wessell's arm. Her arm is on the floor and it appears that it is cut off at her mid-forearm (a little past her glove). But in the scene where she is hit and killed by the toxic dart, her arm appears to be cut off at the elbow.
Continuity: Watch Mace Windu's lightsabre when he is deflecting shots from the Super battle droids on the balcony of the arena. The blade, which is supposed to be purple, has switched colour to blue.
Continuity: When Obi-Wan is head butted by Jango Fett during their fight, in the shot where he falls, Jango's costume is reversed. The easiest way to see this is to watch the antenna on his helmet, which is on the wrong side. (CORRECTION: Jango Fett's antenna is always on this side of his helmet: http://intendo.files.wordpress.com/2007/10/star-wars-attack-of-the-clones-jango-fett.jpg, http://www.reelcollectibles.co.nz/images/autographs/boba_jango_helmet_wm.jpg)
Other: When Padmé is trapped in one of the vats that get filled with molten metal, the vat two spaces ahead of her is filled up twice – once after Anakin's arm gets stuck, and once as the flying R2-D2 comes to save her. Then, as Artoo lands, Padmé's vat moves one step closer to the metal-pouring mechanism, and the vat next to her is just about to get filled up. But about ten seconds later there's an overhead shot, and molten metal is being poured into the vat next to Padmé's, even though the vat, and Padmé's vat as well, should already have been filled up by the time given.
Continuity: When Obi-Wan and the two Kaminoians are admiring the clone troopers, the Prime Minister says 'Magnificent aren't they?' and it cuts to a platoon of troopers marching towards the camera. Watch the trooper at the head of the group (the one with yellow markings): the white armour on his legs keeps disappearing and reappearing.
Continuity: When Anakin is fighting Count Dooku, he takes Ben's blue light sabre in his left hand, in the next shot he is holding it in his right hand.
Continuity: When Anakin and Padmé are in the dark corridor on Geonosis, Anakin says, "Wait" and holds Padmé back with his right hand, which switches to his left hand in the next shot.
Continuity: When Obi-Wan and Senator Amidala shake hands in Amidala's apartment, in the first shot, they are standing in front of a doorway, and there's a small table and a couple of chairs by to the corner behind them. In the next shot, Obi-Wan and Amidala have suddenly moved to the right side of the doorway, and there are no chairs or table by the corner. Anakin, Dormé and Captain Typho have changed position as well.
Continuity: During the fight with Jango Fett, when Obi-Wan's hands are tied, Obi-Wan jumps up to kick Jango. Before Obi-Wan hits Jango, Jango fires off a shot. The blaster bolt is headed straight for Obi-Wan, but then it disappears mid-frame before it hits him.
Continuity: There are at least 12 random bodies strewn about the arena during the Jedi/droid battle that are neither Jedis or droid. A couple are actually wearing regular shirts.
Continuity: On Tatooine when Anakin first gets on to the swoop bike, two legs which the bike is standing (hovering) on is visible. This is even so while he is racing along tatooine landscape. These legs are no longer visible when he returns with Shmi.
Continuity: In the scene where Dooku's "escort" is shooting at the Gunship you see the ship trying to dodge the shots, but when Anakin and Obi-wan are arguing about Padme the ship isn't moving at all.
Continuity: During the arena battle on Geonosis, Jango Fett flies in to go after Mace Windu. When he lands, he holds nothing in his hand, but as the Reek detects him, he has his blaster pistol in the left hand. The Reek stampedes him, and there Fett is missing his pistol, but when the beast turns around and charges again, Fett suddenly holds the pistol in his right hand.
Continuity: In the scene where, because of the laser blasts from two of Count Dooku's pods, Padme and a clone fall off the ship chasing Count Dooku, they fall next to each other, then Padme rolls down a dune, with the clone to the middle right of the screen. Later, before Padme tells the clone to gather as many troops as possible, the clone approaches from the lower right corner of the screen.
Continuity: On Tatooine, after Anakin's mother died, and they laid her to rest, you notice the shadows of the tombstone's are all facing one direction. When R2-D2 comes over, you'll notice that his shadow is going in a different direction. Can't be explained by the two suns, as we've seen many times that they don't produce two distinct shadows.
Continuity: When Anakin and Padme are talking in the star freighter, in the shot where Anakin says, "You're exactly the way I remember you in my dreams.", Padme lowers her head. In the next shot, her head is straight, and she repeats the movement.
Continuity: In the bar scene on Coruscant, when Anakin is tracking Zam Wessel through the bar, his Jedi braid changes sides - it is on the left side of his head in a shot where he is seen from behind. At all other times in the movie, the braid is on the right side of his head.
Continuity: When Anakin is crying on Tattooine, he starts to cry and the tears are running down his face, but then they disappear and his face is completely dry, then there are more tears, and the same thing happens again.
Continuity: In the scene where Anakin and Amidala arrives at her "home" on a boat we see her stepping onto the edge of the boat as she gets off. Then we cut to a wider shot and we see her stepping onto the edge of the boat again.
Continuity: In the arena, Anakin asks, "What about Padmé?" and in the background, Padmé has just begun climbing the pillar. Two shots later, we see her reach the top, which means that she has somehow managed to climb to the top of the huge pillar in just two seconds.
Visible crew/equipment: In the fight scene between Obi-Wan and Jango Fett at Kamino, Obi-Wan is seen jumping and deflecting blaster shots as he approches Jango. Look closely, the first shot he swings to deflect never gets fired, and he is left swinging at nothing.
Continuity: In the final shots of R2-D2 and C-3PO after the wedding, the last closeup of the 2 droids shows them with the tree over to the left and you can see clouds, mountains and lake in the gap between the droids and the tree but in the final wide angle shot, the 2 droids are in front of the tree; having jumped to the left.
Continuity: As Padme and Anakin are about to leave their ship to save Obi-Wan right after landing in the exhaust shaft, she puts on a shawl-like piece of cloth over her shoulders facing forward. When they exit the ship, the shawl is suddenly backwards, with the two ends hanging behind her instead of in front of her.
Continuity: At the beginning of the scene where Anakin and Amidala are getting off the transport, R2-D2 is struggling down the stairs some way behind them. Their conversation flows continuously, but as soon as Anakin says "we've got R2 with us", R2-D2 is handily immediately behind them.
Continuity: In the scenes at the very end when Anakin and Padme are married, the cloud formations in the background against the mountains change significantly between cuts from wide angle to closeups. A little wisp of clouds to the right of the couple disappears and reappears when a closeup of R2D2 and C3PO is shown.
Continuity: In the scene where Obi-Wan lands on the cloners' planet. Rain drops go from right to left as he walk to the door. In the next 180 degree scene change as he enters the building they are still going right to left.
Continuity: In the scene on Geonosis where the droids are closing in on the remaining Jedi, the camera keeps cutting close and cutting back out. In only two of these changes is a blue Twilek (Aliens with tentacles on their heads like Bib Fortuna) visible. She has disappeared in the other camera angles.
Continuity: Yoda drops his cane to fight Count Dooku. Then in the wide shots, the cane (CG animated) is no longer on the floor (anywhere), until Yoda conveniently needs it again and pulls it into his hand from nowhere.
Other: When Anakin & Senator Amidala arrive back on Naboo, shortly after there is an aerial shot of a landing platform of some sort, elaborately surrounded by water and a row of trees. Notice that the reflections in the water do not match the position and height of the trees.
Other: When Obi-Wan goes to the water planet and talks to the Prime Minister in his office. The alien is of course computer generated. When the actors do their blue screen work, markers are put up for them to look at so that when the finished shot is done, and the alien is put in, it looks like they're looking at the alien. In this scene, Obi-Wan is clearly not looking at the alien. (On one of the "making of" trailers at starwars.com you can hear George Lucas jokingly say "Eye-lines! I don't care about no stinking eye-lines," and the scene behind him is Obi-Wan talking to the alien...)
Continuity: When Anakin is talking to Palpatine, the shot pans to the door, and it appears as if the door and the furniture are painted.
Continuity: As Anakin and Amidala are landing on Tattooine, the sun on the set and the sun reflection off their ship are in different directions. The double sun would not account for this, as they are not far enough apart.
