In the scene where Peter wakes up and discovers he can't see through his glasses you can see a phantom hand on the left sliding out of view in the mirror. This happens the last time Peter tries to see through his glasses. It's not a reflection of his hand due to the angled edge - it's on the main part of the mirror. See more...

The WTC was mostly edited out, but if you look close enough in three different scenes, you can still see it - a few images were left in in tribute. 1) When Peter is sitting on the Chrysler Building eagle, you can see 2 separate rows of lights next to the Empire State Building. 2) When it cuts to Spider-Man's face looking at the city, it is in his right eye. 3) At the end, when he is swinging on the flagpole (this one is the hardest to spot).
Lucy Lawless makes a cameo in this film - when they are talking to people about Spider-Man, she appears as a punker with red hair and says the line 'A man with 8 arms? Sounds like a good time to me.' I thought it was funny how at least 3 actors from Sam Raimi's other ventures (Xena, Hercules, Jack of All Trades, etc...) made cameos in this movie.
The script of the movie is actually quite close to the original comics' story line. The major difference is that the Green Goblin's hostage in their final fight was not M.J., but Gwen Stacy, Spidey's other serious romance, who died from the shock of the fall when (or even before) Spidey caught her. She broke her neck when Spidey stopped her in mid-air with his webbing, something Superman and other movies ignore.
As an abstract signature, Sam puts the Oldsmobile from "The Evil Dead", in all of his movies. It is an 1973 Oldsmobile Delta Royal. The car has been in every one of Sam Rami's films except for Quick and the Dead. The automobile has belonged to Sam since high school and was speculated by Bruce Campbell that it was so important to the director because he lost his virginity in that car. Hey it is a very roomy car. Uncle Ben is driving that same Oldsmobile when giving Pete a ride to the "library".
