Plot hole: When the film opens, Jason is bound and restrained in an empty room. After killing the six security guards and appearing in the hallway, he chases after Rowan with a machete. Where'd he get this? All the guards had guns, and the rest of the room was completely barren. [Apparently, there was a cut scene (unfortunately deleted scenes weren't included on the DVD) showing Rowan with a box of Crystal Lake newspaper clippings and other Jason material/evidence, and his machete was one of the items in the box. Still a mistake due to the empty room (ropey editing), but that's the reason.]

Trivia
At one point, Rowan says about the android Kay-Em 14, 'She seems so real.' This phrase would be reversed on the TV show Andromeda, as Lexa Doig plays an android, while Lisa Ryder is human. See more...
Revealing: When Kay-Em kicks Jason in the face during the fight sequence, you can see Kane's goatee.
Continuity: After Kay-Em blasts Jason's leg off, in following shots the position of the leg differs.
Revealing: When all of Rowan's clothes are removed from her frozen body, the outline of a strapless bra can be seen under the metal blanket. It is also seen later when she sits up and the metal blanket slips a little bit.
Factual error: When Jason is outside the ship and punches the hole to get back inside, the crew rushes to the door and close it because the lack of pressure is causing them to be sucked out of the ship. They go through several rooms and close multiple doors. Yet when Jason rips through the final door, there's no sudden rush of air, no loss of cabin pressure, even though there would be a continuous path to the broken outer wall of the ship.
Continuity: When the android steps up to fight Jason the first time, he throws his machete at her and hits her square in the chest. For the rest of the movie there is no hole in her jumpsuit.
Continuity: When Jason slams Dallas's head against the wall, he slams him nose first, but when it goes to the side shot Dallas's cheek is against the wall.
Continuity: When Jason throws the machete through Kay-Em, the machete's angle changes position between the shots.
Revealing: After Jason gets his arm blown off, you can see that his torso is much bigger then before since the actor had to hide his arm somewhere.
Plot hole: When the Grundel explodes near the end, Rowan looks out the window to see Uber Jason floating towards the rescue shuttle, only to be grabbed by Brodsky who happens to fly sideways at a high rate of speed. Now provided it's feasible that Uber Jason can survive an immense explosion, how Brodksy not only survived the explosion but managed to wind up away from the spaceship and far enough off to the right so as to catch Jason in mid-space is beyond me.
Continuity: After removing Jason's mask, Adrienne puts the scalpel down on the metal table. In the next shot it is in a different position.
Continuity: In one shot we see the thick green blood dripping off of the autopsy table which Jason is on, and there is plenty of blood running down the side. In later shots when Adrienne turns around and looks at the table, the amount of blood dripping down the side of the table has decreased, and the amount changes in following shots as well.
Continuity: When Adrienne removes Jason's mask she pulls the mask and its straps away. When it cuts the mask is suddenly right above Jason's face and the straps are hanging over his face.
Continuity: When Azreal picks up the frozen coffee cup, it gets stuck to his hand. When he first picks it up, it is attached to his hand straight up and down, but in the next few shots, it is crooked.
Continuity: When Kay-Em jumps on the platform while attacking Jason, she is shown crouched down and says "Hey." and she is missing her black latex gloves, but in the next shot the gloves are back on.
Continuity: When Dallas and Azrael come out of the VR game, the wide shot shows that they are holding the VR controls in their hands. When it cuts to a close-up of Azrael, the control is suddenly on the ground.
Continuity: When Lowe sits down by Rowan on the couch, Rowan is holding her hair back with her hand. When it cuts to him saying "You wanna tell me what happened" her hair is hanging down.
Continuity: After Jason throws his machete through Kay-Em, you can see behind Jason there is a tunnel, which they are both outside of. When Kay-Em starts kicking him they are both halfway through the tunnel.
Continuity: When the android kills Jason she throws the machete into him. Later when the healing ants are trying to rebuild Jason and start searching for synthetic cellular replacement, in the wide shot you can see the machete no longer sticks out of his body.
Factual error: Rowan has been frozen since at least 2010 because that's when the Cryo machine was made. The android says she has been out for 4.55 centuries. With it being 2455 it would be 4.45 centuries. Pretty simple mathematical mistake for a robot.
Revealing: When Uber-Jason punches off Kay-Em's head, you can see that it is already rolling off her shoulders before he hits her.
Continuity: When Kay-Em is shown firing at Jason with the two pistols her arms are straight out in front of her, but in the shot from below her elbows are bent and she's firing from waist height. In the next shot, her arms have returned to being straight out.
Continuity: When Dr. Wimmer and his men are approaching Rowan, we see Dr. Wimmer lift his head looking up at her. When it cuts he lifts his head, looking up at her again.
Revealing: When Sgt. Brodski gets a spear through him, Jason pushes it through the wall and passes into Brodski's stomach. You see him lift himself up off of the wall and the spear in his stomach lifts up as well.
Continuity: When Jason rams his machete through the cry-stasis chamber and stabs Rowan, the amount of blood on the machete differs from shot to shot.
Continuity: When they crash the ship into the Solaris you see the back part of the ship slide over the Solaris' glass sphere. When it cuts half the ship is sliding over the sphere.
Continuity: As Kay-Em repeatedly kicks Jason, between shots the amount of blood on his machete varies.
Continuity: When Jason is sneaking up behind Crutch, the position of his headphones changes between shots.
Plot hole: When Professor Lowe calls Dieter Perez to tell him about his findings on Earth 1, Perez makes note that one of the viables was named Vorhees and deduced it was Jason Vorhees. How did Lowe know it was named Vorhees? 1) Rowan at the beginning acknowledged she had yet to prep the chamber which means no paperwork. 2) The students found no paperwork when they found the chamber and had no time to look for paperwork once they realized they needed to get Rowan to a lab to save her right away. 3) Rowan did not give him Jason's name when she first woke up. This is obvious in the scene after Lowe talked with Perez he was talking to Rowan and she brought up the story about Jason and he acted like he never heard the name before. So there is no way for Lowe to know Jason's name for his report to Dieter.
