Continuity: In the scene when Ally Sheedy is pouring the straws with sugar in them onto her sandwich, at first she has three straws in her hand, but after the close-up of the second straw being poured it shows her without the last straw in her hand.

The original running time of "The Breakfast Club" was about two and a half hours. Thinking the film would not be a hit, Universal Pictures cut the running time down to 97 minutes.
